I have exactly the same issues with focus getting cleared and with setting focus at times. Until these issues have been fixed I will probably use a target of target based setup instead.

I've also had the same issue with setting my focus, which is exactly why I'm not using focus targeting until I can get it consistently working as it should.

Anyone else getting their focused target (assuming your primary character is the focus for FTL/assist) cleared while going into/out of instances?

Anyone else getting their focused target (assuming your primary character is the focus) cleared randomly (no apparent reason)?


Anyone else having issues setting focus sometimes? I can eventually get it by cycling through targets over and over or escape keys and/or switching back and forth between client windows (retrying until it sticks/sets) though a few times I had to x out the client and restart the client.

I am considering doing the manual macro's to manually target my primary toons target if that will provide more consistancy & less pain...

All of the above is exactly the same as my experiences. It's just too much hassle to deal with it right now, as far as I'm concerned.
