The idea was to get your beta invite either via them directly, or to notify you, that you will be contacted by a distributer site. It doesnt mean that if you didnt get this email as many people did, you are out. I means you havent gotten it yet.

Yes everything needs to be completed and correct to get one from Bioware. Otherwise, just click on your browser, and either copy and paste thiswww.curse.com or click it... and go get one. I got two emails from Bioware, and I still went to curse and got 2 more.
