Default RAF and Battle Net account

In order to do the A > B > C > D > E Recruit a Friend scheme, can they all be on one battle.net account (ie. one email address?).

Do I have to create new battle.net accounts for the chain referrals?

I'm a bit confused on the best way to do this. I have 1 main account with a couple of lvl 85 toons, i'd like to get 4 more accounts to start multiboxing again.

    Thanks,
    Nixi

Oh hey, i saw your video from last year. Very informative, it helped clear up the nuances of the RAF.

So i have to pay for account B's game, subscribe / upgrade in order to get the RAF option from the battlenet website? I just don't see the RAF option when i'm looking at account B from the Battlenet webpage. I only see it on my main (active/subscribed) account.

Makes me feel old. I am actually going to redo that video and bring it up to speed with the current
    RaF ruleset sooner or later.

Right, only retail accounts have the ability to refer another. So you'd refer account B with account A, then
upgrade account B to retail, and refer account C with account B. Wash, rinse, and repeat.

EDIT: To add, you only need the base version of the retail game in order to send a RaF recruit. You should
also get 20 invites to send out.
