Default Higher system requirements for Rift?

Anyone who multiboxes WoW notice any differences in performance when you multibox Rift? I often 5-box WoW with no problems at all, but anymore than 3-box in Rift is too much lag that I start losing follow and everything is pretty jerky looking.

I use ISBoxer for Rift, and both ISBoxer and PwnBoxer for WoW.

My computer is getting a bit old (3 years already), and its both exciting yet stressful when its time for a new computer. Exciting because I get a new computer, stressful because I have to spend so much money.

Yeah, Rift is a MUCH higher demand on graphics and CPU than WoW. Enable low-quality renderer and it'll make a ~40% difference in system use from what I've seen.

If/when you get a new computer, I highly recommend the Intel Sandy Bridge i7. Good price and great performance. On the graphics side, make sure you get a lot of GPU memory on the card.

Even better, keep your old computer and run 2 characters on that one and 3 characters on your new one. It's nice to run the healer as primary on your 2nd computer and tank as primary on the 1st computer. Of course, you could just have multiple monitors on a single machine.
