    Well I probably wasn't clear.

My normal play is fine, but there is a period in the evenings (peak time on server) where things go to hell. This is what I experienced before. There would be a few hours in the evenings sometimes where the latency would just go to 1000ms or higher. I couldn't log into zones, wouldn't respawn etc.

I 5 boxed all day and things were great. Came back and did the same thing in the evening and things were reminding me of what I use to see towards the end of my playing last year. It is possible it is my IP provider (Frontier Fios) but isn't just my home as a friend of mine that use to play WoW had the exact same thing (back a year ago) He was also FIOS.

The reason I assume it was more on blizzards end or at least that side of the network, as there were tons of folks having the same problem over a year ago. Long threads about it etc. Blizzard had even responded. It would only happen peak times typically.

I ran into the same thing, and then checked a few threads and seemed others were having the same issue (Like i said even a thread on it on this forum).

I can run a speed test this weekend .

My system is high end , 6 core extreme edition 980 (best cpu available back in november), 580GTX, solid state drives, 12 gig fast memory etc. FIOS internet, peak download of 20-25Mbit. I also have anti -virus software and update and scan regularly. (AVG).

Like I said when I had this problem before (Typically only at peak times), there were a ton of folks that were noticing the same thing. So while it might be my ISP pretty sure not on my end....

most of this was in the middle back then blizzards ISP not having a nulf incoming routers (EU??) and some ISP takeing longer routers making high lag as some players had no probs some do, sometimes i have to use VPN to reroute as the links my isp's use to blizzards ISP are far to lagey at peek time. and makes the game unplayble at peek times

Blizzard blames ISP <> ISP blames blizzard. and to be fair its both to many wow players on your ISP

Evenings are peak times for WoW but also for ISP's.

If you use cable or ADSL chances are you're sharing your line with many others. Are other things slowing down at the same time? Like log out of WoW and try downloading something...

I've yet to encounter a wow server that's so incredibly busy it lags due to the userbase.

I'd be looking into your own connection towards their servers.
    EU-boxer on Executus.
