Multiple Warlocks DoT question

Hi, I am thinking of joining wow again and want to PvP with multiple warlocks.

So I have 2 questions,
Will it work if multiple warlocks put corruption on the same target?
And how much % of health damage in general would 1 corruption do if it gets all its ticks on the target?

I just have this funny picture in my head of instant casting multiple DoTs on all the targets in the area.
But it will only work if it does any real damage.

I mean of course I will have to use other spells too but I'm hoping if I have 5 warlocks that say corruption will do a very good base damage to each player I target.

Edit: Maybe one more question, is there any other damage over time spell that I can also use on many targets. Hopefully has low cooldown and instant or short cast time.

locks have lots of instant cast dots, and they do alot of damage, i'm not sure how else to answer this question sorry

Each lock can put corruption and (bane of agony or bane of doom) on a target. All instant cast. Bane of Agony and Doom are about the same damage so I use Doom as it has a chance to spawn a demon. Affliction locks can spread corruption to all surrounding enemies from a Seed of Corruption explosion. Affliction spec is harder to pvp with due to not having felguards. I wish demonology could spread corruption with Seed of Corruption. That would be insane.

Locks in 2s and 3s is insane atm. Would love to se a vid of 4 locks + 1 priest/paladin in 5s dmg would be slow @ the start, but once everything is DoTed up, healers will go oom pretty fast. You have AOE fears for melee comps. And against any comp you could do this:

/target arena1
/cast 10000 DoT

/target arena2
/cast 10000 DoT

etc...

The pressure would be huge

I dont want to burst your bubble but... I played 3 warlocks back in TBC and WOTLK and to be honest, it was pretty terrible. The burst damage is simply not there. You will be dead long before enemy team even notice they are dotted up.

I see only chance in this:

you enter arena as demo spec

1 - demon Form
2 - Demon Soul
3 - Demonic Empowerment
4 - Soulburn + Soulfire at whichever enemy is likely to be dead - someone without bubble/iceblock, dispersion, etc - druid/war/nonshadow priest
5 - use Felstorm
6 - Demon Leap + Immolation Aura

Now, if enemy team survived you are toast. You can use Axe toss, Death coil now and there, but other than that game over

Unfortunately, lock DoTs aren't all they're cracked up to be. I've had resto shams and druids run away from my warlock group (4 locks + priest) and with 8 DoTs ticking, they were STILL able to heal through it _while moving_. And they were affliction spec at the time.

I've got a lower team of locks + a priest.
Haven't leveled them too far yet, but I like the idea of applying a massive number of dots to an enemy.

Affliction gets you passive healing, via Haunt and the Siphon Life on Corruption.
Plus you used to be able to Drain Tank a bit, not sure how that is now.

Demonology gets you the Felguards and Soul Link for extra survival.

Destro had the AoE stun, but in general I'd go Affliction or Destro.

If you want to run with a healer on the team...
A druid or priest is rather mobile, if you're going for Affliction spec.
If your locks are stand and cast (Shadowbolt or Incinerate, as the main nuke with dot support) then any healer should work.

Your spell power, in relation to their health will determine how hard they hit.
So the average item level, assuming you use appropriate gear for Lock pvp, will largely determine how powerful you are.
When gearing up, very geared opponents suck.

As a melee 5-boxer (ferals), a 5x Demonology boxer repeatedly owned my team.
He also owned any size group of opponents trying to get past him at the choke point he was holding.
We essentially both had mostly full honor gear, with the odd piece of arena gear here or there.

I'm pretty sure my DK team would have given a better run for the money, because of interrupts and the AoE nature of Howling Blast... cleave > non-cleave, when everyone is bunched up.

The majority of players are going to lose to you, in a BG situation.
It doesn't matter what you're playing... 4x/5x anything, is going to win quite often.
Especially if your team has some form of synergy.
Dots stack with each other, so that is fairly good synergy.
You'll have Agony, Corruption, UA or Immolation, which is fifteen dots in 3 GCD's...
You can macro tab, click, click, repeat... to quickly dot up a lot of opponents while on the move.

Look at the relevant strengths of a given composition and decide if you want to play that style.
Everything has things they're good at, which make them fun to play.
