I'll have to post it when I get home. I believe it's on like page 4 of Beeqs movie thread for heroics.

What is the fastest way to level 5x mage from 80 to 85? Are quests the best way?
Or can I camp a location somewhere and just farm mobs?
Doing dungeons is probably to hard for me, I'm just not good enough to handle the mages at this time so I'm planning to wait and start playing cata-dungeons when at 84-85.

I'd imagine quest stacking to be the fastest way to level.
But that might not necessarily be the best way to level.

If you're on a PvP server and the level 85's really want to make leveling miserable...
Instances or Battlegrounds might be a better option.

If you have an interest in PvP for end-game play, having 4,000 honor saved up to be spent immediately at 85th is nice.
It's still 80-84's in your bracket, but at least it is not 85's with 390+ iLV gearing.
And whatever game you play is likely to be equal players instead of imbalanced numbers.
Plus, if its a 40-man like AV/IoC, your chances of winning despite being lesser geared goes up dramatically, and PvP with an around 50% win rate is decent leveling speed.

If you have any kind of a tank, or are capable of taking out non-heroic instance bosses.
Or even just trash up to a boss and then reset...
Instances are a good option, because you can take your time, won't be ganked, won't have higher level/better geared players on you, etc.

I'd quest, with a quest stacking guide of some sort.

Which stats should I prioritize now when my mages are 85?
I use them for PvP so my gear will be mostly pvp-gear (since farming honor is easier for me). I'm playing arcane in pvp as well.

I've heard hit rating is important to kill bosses, but at this point I'm not focused on heroics at all. So you could say they're pvp-mages but also will do some normal dungeons just for fun. And I'm so far also a bad 5x mage player in dungeons
So which stats should I get when reforginging and using gems to make them strong in pvp and to make my dungeons runs a bit smoother? And which stats to reduce when reforging?

If you're going to PvP, then enough hit to be hit capped for players.
Which is 5% after any talents, racial benefits, etc.

Beyond Hit, I'm not sure what a Mage should go for.

Mages need 6% hit to kill anything the same level as them and add 2% for everything level after that. Bosses (mobs with skulls for levels) require 17%

    Gnome mages!

It's great to see mages still going strong! I quit playing last summer or so, but I miss my team every day.
Recently I have received many scrolls of resurrection, and I'm so tempted to come back at least for a while.

Especially the offer for instantly leveling up a character to level 80 per scroll is very tempting.
I always wanted to try 5x or 10x blood dks and Blizzard is giving great opportunity for that.. (yes, they are so evil)

Not trying to hijack the thread, but what's the state of DKs at the moment?

I like that idea a lot.

Boxing I have a lot of fun in AV, IoC, EotS and WSG.
And aside from SotA, have a decent win rate everywhere.

If it's not one of the first four, I could solo box it...

    From a PvP perspective...

1x Holy Paladin & 4x Frost Death Knights, is very strong.
I've got full honor gear, and around a third conquest gear from this season... including weapons.

Even before finishing the honor gear grind, the team was dominant in 40-man BG's.

Anytime the focus is kill the team via damage, it doesn't go well for the other side.
The DK's put out a massive amount of AoE damage, via Howling Blast.
And the Paladin is exceptional at single target healing, just change who the focus is (via Grid) to whatever toon is hurt the most.
I've had AB games, where their entire team cannot kill my five at Blacksmith.

CC effects (ie., smarter opponents) kind of suck...
But the Paladin has a trinket and bubble.
And the DK's have Anti-Magic Shell (debuffs, 7s every 45s), Icebound Fortitude (stun break/protection), Pillar of Frost (knockback immunity) and Lichborne (fear immunity)... plus their trinket too.
