Assist or Target=Focustarget?

With my 1xPala + 4xShaman team I currently have three different healing schemes:

* The Shamans have a simple macro to drop a Lesser Healing Wave on the tank. This is the main one I use.
* The Paladin has Clique installed to help me to click-heal the Shamans, this oddly enough is often enough to get aggro back from an (un)lucky Shaman crit, and if not then at least the Shaman gets to survive.
* There's an emergency healing button for when multiple characters are taking damage and we need to get sorted as soon as possible.. with this the paladin heals the first shaman, the first shaman heals the second and so on until the final shaman heals the paladin. The idea here being that whoever's being hit should get a heal. I'm even considering a shift version of this to reverse the order in case two people next to each other in the order are being hit.

I am seriously considering replacing the heal tank button with the macro earlier in the thread though, that looks as if it could be nice and shiny.

I take it you mean

/cast [target=focustargettarget, help, nodead]; [target=focustarget, help, nodead], [target=Tankname, help, nodead];[target=Thischaracter'sname] Heal

I think I prefer the following but then I use focus as my tank (you can substitute focus for the characters name if you don't have the flexible focus approach)

/cast [target=focustargettarget, help, nodead][target=focustarget, help, nodead][target=focus, help, nodead][] Heal

the last option could have target=player if you really don't want the heal to behave as if there were no conditions and just heal the caster.

I got to excited last night as I approached lvl20 and forgot to setup the macros. I should have plenty of time this afternoon. Yay for clearing MH and BT in 2 day.
