dont limit yourself to 1-9.
Utilize and key close to your fingers. F,G,V,C,X,Z are great additions for quick keys.
I tend to not use T,Q,R since i use those for Tells, Autorun, Replies.

I bumped my movement keybinds over one key to ESDF, and bound every key around them (10 keys total) to slots on the second action bar. This gave me about 15 or so keys that I can hit without moving my hand and having to look down to check which buttons I'm on... plus I love having the qaz keys under my left pinky for super fast access. I can't chat with keymaps on though, that's a little annoying but not a big enough issue to warrent drastic changes so far... mostly because I don't have friends ingame... j/k![]()
Thank you for all the responses!
With the recent update to 1.5, i took the time to single box my main and do some of the chronocle events. ( playing one character seems so easy now)
I just finished setting up my third accout and got them all within level of each other. I still cant get over the fact that i have 3 mages. I simply cast one DOT, and 2 other dots pop on the mob and all the pets go crazy on that mob!
Who would of thought necrosis @ level 5 could kill a mob so fast!
I was curious how other people felt about questing or grinding.
Questing seems to be a pain due to turning on repeater, lineing up the toons so when i click the NPC they all get it. instead of rounding up mobs and flooring them.
Trizzle
I do both. I quest, and while questing, I dot everything in sight and AoE the pack to death. Makes questing less boring and makes good money in the process (I've been able to afford the fastest mounts I can use at each level breakpoint).
As for mouse broadcasting and quest NPCs, yes, it isn't easy but questing keeps you supplied with top-level class-specific gear and decent coin and faction to boot. My suggestion is to get your guys' cameras lined up and then keep them that way as much as possible. If you zoom them to the same level and keep them at the same angle, it usually only takes two clicks to get all 5 quest dialogs open. I'll admit it isn't as nice as WoW was due to Rift not having preset camera angles (and macros to reset it) but it isn't all that bad. You get used to doing it after a while and it becomes second nature. Even when my cameras are messed up for whatever reason, it's still quicker to broadcast than it is to forget it and do other things.

Back in the DOS 6.2 DOOM beta days, I still used WASD. It wasn't long after that I decided to move back to the home keys as DOOM allowed you to rebind those keys. Other games followed along with keybind remapping shortly after and I still use home as my base for left-hand keymaps. I've gone even further in recent years to using my index finger for the most common attacks/macros as ring/middle fingers tend to aggravate my budding carpal tunnel symptoms.
