Default 4x feral druids in PVP?

Anybody here who have expirience with ferals in pvp?

    I started a 4x feral + 1x resto Combo. (below lvl 60 atm)
iam a bit sceptical about root- & fear-effects, but hmm i will see :P
I think, the good side is the suprise-effect of 5 stealthed opponents in a bunch @ battlegrounds like AB/EOTS

Problem is that imo Feral is one of the more complicated classes to box. Due to combo points and procs. I played feral as main for some years up to 2k in arena and RBG. I'd say go for rogues with saplolz.

I play one solo right now, and it doesn't seem like a good boxing class. It's a very high skill cap class like frost mage or rogue. There are specific rotations, a ton of abilities, and way too many proc-based spells and situations for it to be boxed effectively, in my opinion. It's not run around and spam 3 spells regardless of what you're fighting, like a DK.

I boxed 2 cats and 2 rogues. It's not easy, takes a long time to setup, will be extremely frustrating in the beginning, but is loads of fun at times:

(keep in mind, a lot of the enemies I attack in this vid are 84, I'm 82/83 in the vid)
The poetry that comes from the squaring off between,
And the circling is worth it,
    Finding beauty in the
    dissonance

    are you fucking kidding me?
it doesn't matter at all what button you press, you will always do something right. How can a frost mage be a high skill cap class? You can start the attack in stealth, you can spam instant icelands while lol jumping around , you can root everyone to eternity, you can counterspell without even having to interrupt, you can deep freeze, you can ring of frost, eternal polymorph, you have blink and ice block when shit goes wrong? How does that require any skill whatsoever to be any decent? Yeah to play frost mage at 2700 it requires skill, but you just lost all credibility with saying that frost mages are a very high skill cap class. Give a frost mage in the hands of a moron and he has still a higher % to win vs any decent player.

And feral a high skill cap class? How can that be? The only thing it requires is that you completed kindergarten school and are able to count to 5. Jump on a caster from stealth, and they lose 40% of their hp before they even can react. Thunderstorm? Who cares, lol jump and back on top of you. Ow you have a healer with you? j+k instant cyclone and you can't do shit about. Ow you target me? lolnoob, i go bear and you can blow me. Ring of frost? lol ijust run over it. Polymorph, hex? lol who cares i'm a feral

Ferals are the most OP class atm in the game in pvp besides dotlock/resto shaman combinations. It works with any class and even as a complete idiot you can get a decent rating as a feral.

Yeah at the very top of the arena scene it might require a higher skill cap, but that is not the definition of a high skill cap. Imo a high skill cap is the amount of skill it takes to make a spec work at a decent level. And nor frost mage nor feral require any skill to play at a somewhat decent level just by their innate abilities.

I get your point zenga but you just listed like 10 skills a mage needs to monitor and use. I'm not saying they are high skill, but certainly not as low skill as you make it out to be...

Remember the difference between a good mage against a melee boxer and a bad mage is that he might actually kill your team or at least a few. Mages can be extremely frustrating when played well. When played averagely I can squash them like bugs.

Well my rant was boosted by playing like 15 teams in a row prior to my post with ferals and mages. Scrubs that had half a clue what they were doing but still raped the living shit out of me. Seriously going from double poly into a root trying to los the counterspell, into a deep, and then wasting half your mana to help your healer top you off, when that mage just blinks away and iceblock to reset the fight is ... well I told you in my previous post

Heyaz was talking about solo play, not so much about boxing. When I box ele, a mage is really not a problem, you can ground / purge everything. And they don't really need to monitor those 10 skills like you state it. At 2k mmr (which is for the majority of the wow population a decent level) it doesn't really matter what order they use their spells in. They have just too many tools to fuck it up. And when they do fuck up they can always reset the fight.

But you might have guess I don't really like mages. Like them even less when they are belfs :P
So in my opinion, after frost dks & ret pallies, frost mages require the least skill to reach 1800-2000 rating in arena.

This is how I learned to play a Mage back in the day...
