Thread: Key Maps

    Default Key Maps

Do the key maps in a profile work with all the character sets in that profile?

If you add the keymaps to the character sets and check the boxes under Character Sets-->RiftBardsExample-->KeyMaps-->White List/etc., then yes. You have to link the two first. It won't happen automagically (that I know of).

    Yes.

Example: in ISB, "XXX" character set has two toons. Toon A and Toon B. If you make keymap changes to the character set. Both toons are affected, unless you assign one to a different ATG.

I think I was logging into my screens with the wrong account names and this was causing problems. But at the time I thought it was an issue with the key maps.

I've changed to a window layout that is better for me to keep track of which screen belongs to which account.

Note that you can look in ISBoxer and find the individual characters' virtual config files and go look at those manually to confirm what it's using for the login usernames. In WoW, it's in your WTF folder. In Rift, it's under %appdata%\Rift\...
