You're scary.. but in a good way :-)

You must have used Sam's ultra secret levelling technique to level so many that fast!

heh thanks guys, it was an interesting challenge and tbh I'm surprised I managed to avoid getting burnt out. Some days I would be at work looking forward to logging in and then get home and just looked at the comp and said fuck it and played something else, think that worked in my favour in the end as I didn't get to hating the game for making me HAVE to log in.

After doing the characters on my main account from scratch I had seen all of the low level content I ever need to and just wanted to get to 85 asap so found boosting to be the best way to get all the teams out of RAF asap. The fact I have a friend with his healers waiting for me to hit 85 for arenas was also a factor in me deciding not to slow down, as was the decision to start a goblin team on an MB server once RAF expires to allow me to see the new quests.

The real challenge starts now though I think, getting the 10 teams to 85 and dealing with doing the same quest chains 10 times in a row without getting to hate the zones. I will likely take a small break between each team to run instances with them and gear up before moving on to the next team, think maybe 2 weeks will be enough time to be refreshed for the leveling grind to start again.

Have decided that all of them will be alchemists so also have to fit in the herb grind to power them all up, think it works out to needing 2600 peacebloom/silverleaf just for starters so I have a feeling that will take me a few days to get done as well, possibly just take a weekend (maybe the upcoming long weekend here) with routes fired up and a druid with max flying leveling herbalism and just braindead my way through it.

Goal now is to get all to 85, all quests in all cata zones done, alchemy maxed, max flying, sandstone drake + mechanohog, fully geared up in whatever the current vp gear is by the time the next xpac is released (assuming it will be around july next year)....that's one hell of a challenge that will pretty much just require time to accumulate gold and work out how to best beat the instances so don't think it's unacheiveable just likely frustrating when I start trying the learning process of a new team in instances.

Honestly I found questing in BT to be faster in the end than instances but this is what I'd do.

    * 65 - 68 = Run Sethekk Halls. Only have to move team once from start in to first boss after you kill him, mindless run and about 12-15 min per run
    * 68-70 = UK completing the quests.
    * Quest in BT up to completing Last Rites (including most collections quests)
    * Head to OK/AN and run them once each, completing the quests.
    * Head back to BT and quest until I got the Nexus quests (so do Mrrgl before heading over to Coldara)
    * Run Nexus once, completing quests.
    * Head to Dal, get quest for VH and run it once to complete
    * Head back to BT and finish it off.
    * Head to DB and do enough of Wintergarde to open up the group mob quests, go kill Chilltusk to start the Magnataur line and go do the Jormungar cave questline to get "Really Big Worm"
    * Use booster to kill all group mobs and Magnataur line
    * Head to Gundrak, grab quests for inside and go run it.

Should likely be 80 by now, if not head to UP and run it along with the quest. I'd solo all the way up to Ymirron (moving chars as needed) and then use all the chars for that fight as I needed to split the damage due to tank not quite being geared enough.

If not 80 now, head to Alliance vanguard in IC and do first few quests, should hit 80 by the time you have to kill all the spiders + frostwyrms. Once 80 I'd head to Hyjal and do the opening quests and the start of Avinna quest line, would hit 81 by the time I finished the "kill Blaith" quest.

I see you intend to farm all the herbs for Level 50 Alchemists yourself.

I assure you, you will go brain dead. I did after do 8 alchemists, so instead of started buying herbs from the Auction House.

The key here is to only buy them when they are ridiculously cheap over a 1-2 month period. That is what I started doing.

You can use TUJ to setup notification for each herb that meets your quantity / price. When you are notified, you can then use the remote auction house to purchase the items where ever you are.

Typically, I take mean price of the herb and set my notification price to be 40-60% less.

Using this guide for the list of required herbs and the US Alliance Proudmoore TUJ data and assuming you can slowly purchase all herbs for 40% less than the mean, it will cost a total of

    2900G are current market valuation
1740G if you buy at 40% Less

If you do this for all 50 characters, that comes to a grand total of

    50* 2900G = 145,000G at current market valuation
50*1740G = 87,000G if you buy at 40% Less using TUJ notifications

That may seem like a huge amount of cash, but if you put a lot of effort into Auction House whoring, you can make that much in 1-2 months given 10,000G starting capital.

Plus, as you slowly get your alchemists rolling your revenue and profit will increase substantially.

The only thing I'd worried about is over saturating the market. You might want to diversity into doing Volatile Air, Volatile Water, and Truegold.

My server is Medium Population and I can easily saturate the market with my 16 alchemist army.

You'll also want to level up 5 or more Jewel Crafters as if makes obtaining all the recipes that much faster. Also, it allows you to do the Obsidium Shuffle a lot faster.

I personally have 5 JCs and I buy bulk ore from the Auction House and form trade chat. I then the hundreds of stacks I've bought and prospecting x5 in parallel.

Or if I'm doing arena on my x4 DKs, I'll have my JC logged on in Org and he'll get the spam key to prospect all the ore. By the time I've finished BGs / Arena for the night, all my ore prospecting is done

Anyway, long post but I hope this helps.
