Fairly new to multiboxing

Hi, been multiboxing for about a week with a team or 1 druid and 4 shaman, have been finding it relatively easy and reached the 70s today.

Was thinking about starting a gnome team but was wondering how would it work to have a team with a designated healer such as 1 warrior 3locks/mages and 1 priest? Or would it be easier to go with 4 priests or is that damage too low?

Test, experiment, and find out what works for you. You might find Priests boring as shit to play when someone
else loves them to death. You might find that Priests suck until level 40 or they might be unbelievably squishy
and worthless until they're at level 85 with 2000+ resilience (if PvP is your thing). Or it might just be the
opposite where you're face rolling everyone and their mother from level 1 to 84 and all of a sudden at 85
they're terrible and you feel like you've wasted your life away leveling them. DKs are beasts but there are
people who find it excruciatingly painful to play melee classes (and they hate themselves because of that).

Multiboxing is like 95% personal preference from the teams/characters you like to play, how you like your UI
set up, rotations and macros, all the way down to which software/hardware solution you decide to use to
mulitbox with. If you're currently on your 90 days of RaF (once again I'm assuming because most people don't
have 5 old accounts lying around to just test with), then you've got plenty of time. Don't stick to just one
team/playstyle... you've got to whore yourself out and suckle all the delicious honey from the teat that is
called multiboxing.

If you want my opinion, designated healers are nice to have. Oh, and... welcome to the forums.

Lots of people run multiclass and multirole teams.

It's a lot easier to answer specific questions than it is to answer subjective ones. Try setting one up and if you have problems, ask.

if it helps, my first team is/was (I'm a relatively new boxer compared to others here)

1 Pally Tank
2 Warlocks
1 Mage
1 Priest Healer

I was able to faceroll all content up to 80 without CC or much thought.

After 80, things got more challenging, but I was able to (with perseverance and a lot of trial and error) get down some cata normal dungeons at character level. Gear was a huge issue and since while leveling I didn't gem, enchant, or glyph - I am sure that didn't help much either.

Blackrock Caverns and Vortex Pinnacle I was able to get down in one try (although, many wipes)

Throne of Tides I was stuck at the first boss for a while until i remapped my UI and macros for things like interupts and cc. I was able to clear it by lvl 83.

The Stonecore i got stuck at the 2nd boss but am confident with gear and leveling I'd be able to down him too.

Once things get harder, it becomes more about practice and playing smart than anything. I had a lot of inefficiencies that I would probably not learn from had I went with a different team set-up.

My biggest weaknesses are:
- Not being familiar with my classes
- Not being familiar with the encounters (never leveled up a single toon in cata before)

So your mileage my vary depending on your game knowledge and experience. Since I'm leveling 2 teams at once for the eventual attempt at 10-manning content, I haven't gotten too much practice at post 85 stuff yet. I'm hoping to have a full team of 10 by the time the next expansion comes out.
