Default Effecting FPS When not being run.

I've been dual boxing two chars for RAF recently, and I was using maximizer and regions while I do that. Now even when I just try to play WoW Normally, and start wow normally, it limits my fps to 10 (Which is what I set it to in Keyclone). How can I stop it from effecting all WoWs that I start when I don't even have it running?

On top of that, all my settings for Keyclone are getting deleted after I close it. No Command Editor commands (Which is where I adjusted the max fps, ect.)

Edit* Was able to fix the FPS issue with /console maxfps 100. A bit annoying but I can live with it. This thread can either be deleted or locked...Though I still don't know why settings keep getting wiped.

wait, what?! Does this make a difference? Cause I dont run ISBoxer in Admin mode. Should I be?

Im running 60fps on each window. always. Sometimes I watch it blip down to 58 or 59, but it usually always stays maxed at 60.

Answer: It Depends(tm). The reasons are legion. If you don't have issues, don't worry about it. If you do, they can usually be resolved by running as Admin. (Most of the problems are due to registry/folder access restrictions.

    /console set maxfps 60
    /console set maxfpsbk 60

What you're seeing is the config.wtf still having the FPS limits (the two variables above) from the last time KC ran. It will add those back in again every time you launch with KC, so you'll have to run this command anytime you run without KC. Suggestion: setup a macro with these that, say, is part of your invite or buff macro, so you always remember it without having to remember it.

When i was using keyclone i used to have 2 WOW folders, one for my boxing play, and one for my solo play.
That way I didn't have to reset my settings all the time (but addons and other settings needed to be duplicated obviously)

In the graphics settings within wow, you can set wow to have a max FPS foreground, and max FPS Background. Now if wow's settings are on, it may be conflicting with what Keyclone is wanting to do, but if you cannot change the settings for background fps then you may want to dissable keyclones option then go with wow's control over fps instead. set it to medium high on the forground, then lowish on background. That way whatever window is in the main view, will always have better fps since thats the one that matters.

I don't know how keyclone works with wow, but you may have to run wow standalone and set this, close it, then run it from keyclone. that way it will have the settings scripted already, then you dont' have to mess with it after. again I have no idea how keyclone operates with wow, so someone who's used it, or Rob should be able to explain better.
