Take a break. One of the benefits of multiboxing is that you are your own group or raid or guild. You don't have four or nine or twenty-four other people depending on you to show up on a regular schedule. If you need to step away from the game for a while due to burnout, you can do it without worry or guilt.
I take breaks all the time; if I don't feel like logging in, I don't. At some point I come back and while the game won't feel new (it can't after all of these years) it is fun to play. There is bound to be something useful you can do with the time that becomes available when you aren't playing WOW for a while.
Earlier this year I paid off all of my credit cards. Before that, there were many months where just the interest and finance charges on my credit cards would have paid for 30-40 WoW account subscriptions. Not to mention the cable bill or the rent or ... etc.Originally Posted by drarkan
Anytime I see someone act as if paying for five WoW accounts is a lot, I chuckle. Now that I have no debt, I could pay for almost 100 WoW accounts a month and still have cash left over. It's not as much money as it seems to be, when you consider all of the other things we have to pay for.
