Getting bored with WoW

*shrug* I worked my way out of poverty and debt and into a very nice and comfortable life where $75 a month for video game subscriptions is no big deal. Not sure about ignoring reality, if reality is that hard work, dedication and managing money carefully pays off. If that makes me a bragging dick, I'm pretty cool with it. Heh.

My wife used to complain about wow time. After some time she stopped.

When I asked why, she said "Well, you arent at a bar, you arent spending money on a one time movie that will be out on DVD in a month for less, arent drinking, arent on the road at risk of some random drug addict or drunk killing you.. I like knowing you are upstairs, safe, happy. $15 a month for that is damn cheap."

My wife is just like your wife. She likes knowing that the wow expense is a set rate per month, not a variable one, like bar bills, pay per view, etc etc. It's easier to budget for wow.

I know I was, and ended up only playing 4 hours in those 7 days as I couldn't be asked to play more.
Basically i logged into most of my toons to check for online friends, noticed that none were ever on, and proceeded to simply do a few WSG with my lowbie gnome priest until I got the Ironman achive ;-)

Hehe, I managed about the same. First day was spent updating and replacing addons since half the crap I was using hadn't been updated since Cata was released. Then I spent the next 4 or so redoing my HKN scripts, macros and interface. Next thing I knew, my time was up.
