Getting bored with WoW

Well, you can either find some other way to play, like spending time in PvP if you've been mostly PvE. You could try rolling a new team on another server or the other faction. You could just quit for a while and try another game, either solo or boxed. You can even pick up a F2P game to do that. Or you could quit gaming altogether for a while.

I haven't played since February. I'm taking advantage of free time from Blizzard to screw around for a bit, but I probably won't subscribe again until September or October. Your toons aren't going anywhere. Nothing wrong with taking a break and coming back later. Or moving on to something else.

I get like that myself as well, I tend to do other hobbies for a bit, maybe tinker on the car, work on my liqour recipes, play minecraft etc... take a little break ,enjoy whats left of the hot weather for a bit, come back when it starts gettin cold

Thats what I say to my friends when I tell them I subscribe to 5 wow accounts.

Also when I feel bored from playing, I just either play another game, like a strategy game like Civ5, Space Empires 5 or 4 (really good games), Age of Empires, or the old school warcraft games. And if its not the game itself and more the games per say, I'll just draw, read a book, take a walk, hit the gym (should be doing that more often anyway, gaming or not lol) or some other activity.

Remember its your life, what you do with it and how you feel is totally up to you. If you feel you aren't getting the most out of life, then only you can make that change, and nobody else can tell you what it is you want or should do with your life. And if they do and you don't like it, well you don't have to do it. Thats why I renounced my religion. and dispite what my family thinks, I will not burn in hell for it

My wife used to complain about wow time. After some time she stopped.

When I asked why, she said "Well, you arent at a bar, you arent spending money on a one time movie that will be out on DVD in a month for less, arent drinking, arent on the road at risk of some random drug addict or drunk killing you.. I like knowing you are upstairs, safe, happy. $15 a month for that is damn cheap."

My wife is just like your wife. She likes knowing that the wow expense is a set rate per month, not a variable one, like bar bills, pay per view, etc etc. It's easier to budget for wow.

Take a break. One of the benefits of multiboxing is that you are your own group or raid or guild. You don't have four or nine or twenty-four other people depending on you to show up on a regular schedule. If you need to step away from the game for a while due to burnout, you can do it without worry or guilt.

I take breaks all the time; if I don't feel like logging in, I don't. At some point I come back and while the game won't feel new (it can't after all of these years) it is fun to play. There is bound to be something useful you can do with the time that becomes available when you aren't playing WOW for a while.

Earlier this year I paid off all of my credit cards. Before that, there were many months where just the interest and finance charges on my credit cards would have paid for 30-40 WoW account subscriptions. Not to mention the cable bill or the rent or ... etc.

Anytime I see someone act as if paying for five WoW accounts is a lot, I chuckle. Now that I have no debt, I could pay for almost 100 WoW accounts a month and still have cash left over. It's not as much money as it seems to be, when you consider all of the other things we have to pay for.
