Default Problem with assist focus macro

    Hey guys,

at this point I'm running a Holy-Priest + Balance Druid team using instances to level up.
Most of the time I set the focus for me Druid to one of the other two DDs or the tank.

I'm using this macro for the druid:

    Code:
    /target [target=focustarget, harm, nodead]
/castsequence reset=combat/target Mondfeuer, Insektenschwarm, Zorn, Sternenfeuer, Sternensog, Zorn, Zorn, Zorn, Zorn, Zorn, Zorn
But sometimes he only spams Moonfire instead of going on with insect swarm and wrath.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

    Default

    /target [target=focustarget, harm, nodead]

That seems likely to cause issues. Try putting your targetting in the castsequence

/castsequence [@focustarget, harm, nodead] reset=combat/target Mondfeuer, Insektenschwarm, Zorn, Sternenfeuer, Sternensog, Zorn, Zorn, Zorn, Zorn, Zorn, Zorn

    Or using

    /assist focus
/castsequence reset=combat/target Mondfeuer, Insektenschwarm, Zorn, Sternenfeuer, Sternensog, Zorn, Zorn, Zorn, Zorn, Zorn, Zorn

    From http://www.macroexplain.com/

    /target [ target = focustarget , harm , no dead ]

If the unit saved as your focus target's currently targeted unit is an enemy and is not dead then:

Set target to the unit saved as your focus target's currently targeted unit

I tried this but there seems to be a little issue still. Sometimes it works but sometimes he just spams Moonfire.
Has the focus person to be in sight to target his target correctly?

    Thanks again!

That macro shouldn't be spamming Moonfire...assuming "Mondfeuer" is Moonfire. Something is making you change targets if that's the case. Either your slave is targeting the mob, then something else or your master is changing targets.

Try the /castsequence [@focustarget, harm, nodead] version or remove target from your reset=

i had the same issue when making my druid's macro, i ended up taking moonfire out of the rotation because i couldn't figure it out. I narrowed it down to something to do with Sunfire vs. Moonfire but it's been a while.

Let them hate, as long as they fear.
