Thread: End-game info

    Default End-game info

I just saw an interview with new info (for me) about SWTOR that might be of interest to others:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FqEze...layer_embedded#!

If you don't want to watch the whole thing these were the highlights for me:

    - No LFG tool that'll auto-group you like in WoW
    - 8-man operations will drop the same quality of loot as 16-man operations
    - Some encounters will be very difficult to multibox. That's no big suprise, but he gave a specific example where two people will have to work together to solve a puzzle while the rest of the raid fights waves of mobs.

Sorry if this was old news, but they were new to me. In fact, another Bioware person had implied earlier in Gamescon that 16-person loot would be better than 8-person loot, here he says that 16-person raids just get more loot, but not higher quality loot.

That is a great consolidation of info. Most of that was allready know but it drove the points home. I believe I saw an interview that said about the 8vs16 operations was that it was the same instance and mechanics just scaled in difficulty, and that is why they wanted it to drop the same loot. I kind of like that method, so if you cant gather enough or people cant show up, you can still work along the same progression path.

Multiboxing will definitely be interesting that is for sure
