Dual Boxing 2 healer in raid question

I'm new to dual boxing but I've read pretty much all the stickies. Since I'm new to this, I was wondering if dual boxing 2 resto druid in a raid setting would be "possible"? In other words, I would play my main resto druid while my 2nd resto druid would follow me and cast the same spells on the same targets.
It would be in Fireland :-)

By the way, I know it wouldn't be possible or viable for every fight. But Baleroc, Shannox, Beth, (maybe rhyolith), alys (if follow is good enough for tornados, and picking feathers hmm), would be possible I think

It's entirely possible. And there's a couple ways to do it.

One way is to have both healers targeting the same toon and heal, making your slave just a carbon copy of your main. That would mean your main has to physically target the person they want to heal, then the slave would either assist your main and cast their heal or your slave would keep your main targeted and use /cast @targettarget heal. Basically the same setup as you would use for DPS.

Another is to use some sort of region and set it up so both toons get the heal commands.

I was dualbox healing Priest/Druid and it worked very well, with a sympathetic group about cleansing. Cleansing the tank and cross cleaning between the characters was all I really wanted to do, but are easy enough. At the time priest and tol druid were a great synergy for healing.

Technical wise, I click healed HKN repeaters and no repeater mouse over keypressed over the same raid unitframe, with some mundane heal MT1,2 keybind macros. Some stuff I had mapped to a xkey pro.

A lot of fights were stupid easy to heal through with the coordination, and basically gave the raid an extra DPS slot.

Things like cyclone, shackle, combat rez odd characters, mass dispell if I was unprepared, innervating others, that stuff sucked and frankly messing with it would cause more problems than it would solve.

Having someone(s) that your character can follow in advance is nice working out the separation anxiety issues is pretty key. If you follow some friends in AV and play in different areas of the map a few times you get a hang of it.

Imagine your grid (healbot, etc) configured that when clicking the upper half of a player slot your main casts a spell, and if in the lower half your slave would cast the spell. That 'd work definitely, isboxer has repearter regions who can do this.
