hrm... i dont understand what you are saying, but am interested in knowing what you mean.
if you are referring to using abilities and action bars and the trinity style gameplay, then I do not see how you can say that it is copying wow... as wow took these idea's from another game as well. people need to stop saying wow clone and things of that nature, as it is pretty much industry standard, not wow copying.
if that is all you are seeing then, this game is not for you, and i respect your choice
I am looking forward to:
multiple decisions in quest, and your choices actually changing the story and gameplay for you
an actual immersive story that is more readily available, not saying wow doesnt have one, it is just poorly implemented.
a universe that I have loved as a kid, and look forward to seeing grow
fresh models and animations
difficutly actively scaling with party/operation size
lightsabers.
I understand that this game is not for everyone, but it is in no way a wow clone or rip off. Wow was not the first game to have quest. Wow was not the first game to have action bars. Wow was not the first game to have humanoid avators representing the player. wow was not the first game to use color. wow was not the first game to have text. wow was not the first game to have currency. wow was not the first game to have instances. wow was not the first game to have races and classes. wow was not the first game to have skill trees. wow was not the first game to have monsters. wow was not the first game to have a login screen. wow was not the first game to run on a PC and a Mac. wow was not the first game to have NPCs. wow was not the first game to have people play together with a common goal. wow was not the first game to have healing or tanks.
pretty much what WoW did was take an allready defined genre and make it more accessible and much more appealing. other games can do that too.
WoW fanboism is pretty harsh, but coming in and saying simply
WORLD OF STAR WARS CRAFT HUERRRRP DERRRRPPP without providing one ounce of backing evidence through which a constructive arguement could be created is simply pointless.
Hence my...
um no.
Thank you for your time.

My only response to this game (and its kind of a lollore response) is... I dont get how normal people are supposed to compare to the jedi?
Say I'm a top level "soldier" (i forget exactly the heavy weapons dudes class name)... so whats that indicate? I know some nice tricks, i am a really good shot with my weapon, and i have access to additional equipment.
Whats to stop a level 1 jedi from coming over and force choking me or force pushing me off a cliff or something? If I get the drop on them, OK but other than that....
Thats what ive never understood about these star wars games.
Currently running 10 miners in Eve Online.
Yeah, thats understandable and I see how that can be the general view by people, and the movies kind of portrayed the jedi and sith as jesus and ronald mcdonald, two baddest mother fuckers in town.
But if you start to read all of the story and all that, not just the hollywood block busters it kinda of sets the tone that yes force sensitive people are great warriors, but so are bounty hunters and troopers and the agents an things of the like. in other forms of star wars lore standard jedi and sith were equal and par with other forms of awesomeness...
now dark lords and fluffybunny Jedi, they are very powerful, those were your emperor, and vader and luke... kind of like the uh.. i cant think of the wow dudes... i will say OrcBoss#1 and AllianceLeader#3.
It's there if you dig deep enough, but some people just arent in to star wars lore, they just saw the movies and thought meh thats kinda dumb, and thats totally ok.
I recommend reading the lost tribe of the sith, and perhaps like star wars: the old republic: deceived IF you want to get a handle on the lore.
If not, then may the uh... azeroth... be with you![]()
