Default How to: Ele shamans 5s.

Ive gotten a few whispers and messages about my ele shaman setup. If you have any questions, post em here.

    Comp:
This composition consists of playing 4 elemental shamans.

    Add0ns:
Jamba (Best multiboxing addon out there.)
Gladius (Arena unit frames, show`s me the opposing teams setup and spec.)
Shadow Unit Frames (Simple party frame addon which shows me if my shamans are locked down and cant cast.)

    Specs: Elemental
    Shaman 1: http://www.wowhead.com/talent#hGGGGRfkzZbhZbh
    Shaman 2: http://www.wowhead.com/talent#huGGGRfkbZbhZbh
    Shaman 3: http://www.wowhead.com/talent#hGGGGRfkzZbhZbh
    Shaman 4: http://www.wowhead.com/talent#huGGGRfkbZbhZbh

    Glyphs:
    - Elemental
Prime: Glyph of Lava Burst, Glyph of Unleashed Lightning, Glyph of Lightning Bolt
Major: Glyph of Stoneclaw Totem, Glyph of Hex, Glyph of Thunder
Minor: Glyph of Artic Wolf, Glyph of Water Walking, Glyph of Renewed Life

    DPS macro:
    - Elemental
    This is my kill macro.
    /assist focus
/use Ruthless Gladiator's Badge of Dominance
    /use 10
    /use Lifeblood
    /cast Elemental Mastery
/castsequence reset=/8 Lava Burst, Chain Lightning, Earth Shock

Other then this I have LB, CL, ES, FS, US and LvB on seperate keybinds.

I have hex setup to cast on arena 1-4.

    Shaman 1:
    #showtooltip Hex
    /cast [target=arena1] Hex

    Shaman 2:
    #showtooltip Hex
    /cast [target=arena2] Hex

    Shaman 3:
    #showtooltip Hex
    /cast [target=arena3] Hex

    Shaman 4:
    #showtooltip Hex
    /cast [target=arena4] Hex

I also have WS setup to cast on arena 1-4

    Shaman 1:
    #showtooltip Wind Shear
    /cast [target=arena1] Wind Shear

    Shaman 2:
    #showtooltip Wind Shear
    /cast [target=arena2] Wind Shear

    Shaman 3:
    #showtooltip Wind Shear
    /cast [target=arena3] Wind Shear

    Shaman 4:
    #showtooltip Wind Shear
    /cast [target=arena4] Wind Shear

Since I have the Glyph of Unleashed Lightning I have a macro which do this:

    <Hotkey ScrollLockOn Shift T>
    <SendLabel w1,w2,w3,w4,w5>
    <Key Shift T>

    Shift T sends:
    /assist focus
    /cast Lightning Bolt

    <Hotkeyup ScrollLockOn Shift T>
    <SendLabel w1,w2,w3,w4,w5>
    <Key K>

Key K sends interact with target.

This helps me gather up after a fear, or chase down healers/melees. Quiet handy.

    How to deal with fears:

I have tremor on round robin.

    First keypress:

    Shaman 1: Tremor Totem
    Shaman 2: Grounding Totem
    Shaman 3: Grounding Totem
    Shaman 4: Grounding Totem

    Second Keypress:

    Shaman 1: Grounding Totem
    Shaman 2: Tremor Totem
    Shaman 3: Grounding Totem
    Shaman 4: Grounding Totem

    Third keypress:

    Shaman 1: Grounding Totem
    Shaman 2: Grounding Totem
    Shaman 3: Tremor Totem
    Shaman 4: Grounding Totem

    Fourth Keypress:

    Shaman 1: Grounding Totem
    Shaman 2: Grounding Totem
    Shaman 3: Grounding Totem
    Shaman 4: Tremor Totem

This ensures me that I have grounding totem up all the time. Which is kinda needed against caster comps. Also good to have VS 3 melee + 2 healer comps, since they will try to CC my healer or my shamans with Hex, fears, strangulate etc.

    How to deal with melees:
    First keypress:

    Shaman 1: Thunderstorm
    Shaman 2: Earthbind Totem
    Shaman 3: Grounding Totem
    Shaman 4: Grounding Totem

    Second Keypress:

    Shaman 1: Grounding Totem
    Shaman 2: Thunderstorm
    Shaman 3: Grounding Totem
    Shaman 4: Grounding Totem

    Third keypress:

    Shaman 1: Grounding Totem
    Shaman 2: Grounding Totem
    Shaman 3: Thunderstorm
    Shaman 4: Earthbind Totem

    Fourth Keypress:

    Shaman 1: Grounding Totem
    Shaman 2: Earthbind Totem
    Shaman 3: Grounding Totem
    Shaman 4: Thunderstorm

    Gear PvP:
    Get the spell pen neck.
I go for the 4 set bonus on the elemental gear, then I use the resto head for mastery.

    - Gemming

Stack intellect, since this is our strongest stat.

    - Enchanting

Im a huge fan of mastery. Ive tried stacking and reforging haste, but when I go for kills, sometimes my targets were down to less then 5000 hp. But now that Im going for mastery, having LvB proc gives me that kill.

    Head: 60 intellect + 35 resilience
    Shoulders: 50 intellect + 25 resilience
    Back: 50 intellect
    Chest: +20 to all stats
    Wrist: 65 mastery
    Gloves: 65 mastery
    Belt: Belt Buckle
    Legs: 95 intellect + 80 stamina
    Boots: 50 mastery

    - Reforging

    Prio list on reforging:
    1. Hit capped
    2. Mastery

    Composition:

    - Healers

As any multiboxing comp you need a solid healer such as a priest or holy paladin. Mix it up to suit your playstyle. I find playing with a priest is better, since I feel that holy paladins lack AOE healing. And lets face it, once the bubble is out, the paladin is fucked.

    - Arena

I never go offensive, I wait for the other team to charge me. If they go defensive I try to stack up my lightning shield orbs by shooting CL on pets, and totems.
    3 melee + 2 healers:
Allways go for Dk or warrior first. Force the DK to use AMS early in the fight, purge both of em. After that you use thunderstorm and earthbind, do a quick hex on healers, and kill the DK or warrior quick. If the warrior uses Spell Reflect, use wind shear to clear it away.
Against caster teams I recommend to kill the mage first! Allways go for the mage, he`s the one screwing up with RoF and polymorph. Force the mage to Iceblock early, then you switch to lock/ele shaman/boomkin. When the mage is healed up, and is out of Iceblock, do a quick hex then use your kill rotation and finish him off.
If I dont get a kill on a dps on the first burst wave, I tend to switch to resto shamans, they are insanely squishy once they`ve used Natures Swiftness.

    Classes to watch out for:
Ele shamans <- If you see a ele shaman on the opposing team, try to force him to go offensive quick. They have insane burst once they have 9 stacks of Lightning Shield. I allways make my healer watch out on how many stacks he`s got.
BM hunters <- Insane burst at the start, so when I see him popping BM, I switch to him and force him to use deterrence, so his burst will be wasted.
Boomkins <- Only thing you should watch out for here is the Typhoon spell. This is only if you are standing on bridges or on top of pillars.
Mages <- RoF and polymorph is a pain to deal with. As I wrote earlier, try to force him to iceblock straight away. Usualy 4 x FS and 4 x LvB will make him Iceblock, once he is out, switch back and finish him off.
    Go for kill situations:

If the opposing healers are far away, and their melee runs behind me, I do a quick Thunderstorm + earthbind, turn around and finish em off while my priest runs and fears the opposing healers. And if a warrior pops recklesness he dies instantly, my healers tells me this aswell.

    - BG
Spam LB and CL, ppl will die anyways

    - RBG
Havent tried this one yet, since Im not sure if it will work. But once I try it, I`ll post here.

    Other tips:
Find a good healer and stick with him/her. You will only get better aslong as you play with the same healer.
My healer doesnt focus entirely on healing, he tells me when a warrior pops recklesness, when rogues uses smokebomb, when my priest is CCed and cant heal, he tells me that I need to heal myself. This makes my job killing alot easier.

If I`ve missed out on anything crucial, please let me know. And im not a grammar god, so trolls keep out!
