[WoW] Boxing for RP!

So, a slightly atypical use for dual-boxing, so my question is going to be in the context of facilitating Role Playing; so yes, I know I wouldn't want to "really" do that.

Is there a way, from the most streamline to clunky, to get two characters to walk side-by-side? I've found a detailed article on formations.. but am too new to boxing to really understand it. So if someone could break it down for me in terms I could implement, that would be wonderful!

I'm still struggling to wrap my head around ATGs (moving the macros out of the game), KeyMaps vs Broadcasting, Follow and the many ways forgetting to turn Broadcasting off can result in hysterical and fatal actions. You know, having fun.

If I've missed a tutorial that covers this, just point me. Perhaps a "things you can't do in WoW through boxing" list or somesuch.

Regardless if both characters have camera angle values that are identical to the millionth decimal place... they
will eventually veer off from each other in World of Warcraft. There is no way around it and I would assume
the terrain itself is to blame.

So the only way is separate hardware so that you can make minute adjustments. <sigh> Well that's not an option for me. So. I suppose my characters will just have to "meet" places so they can "talk". Annoying, but I'll just have to work around it.

If you're actually walking and not running it'll take them longer to veer away from each other depending on the
terrain. If I were you, I would do some test runs in different spots to see the results (if you haven't already).
Your characters will walk how you want them to for at least a little bit before you would need to readjust them;
perhaps make them stop every 5-10 seconds during the RP and have them readjust their positions -- work it
into the dialogue somehow.

To get them side-by-side I would make the second character follow my main for a few steps in a straight line.
Then I would use the keyboard movement keys on that second character to strafe to the right (or left) and walk
him forward up next to my main. Don't use the mouse for precise movements like these because that's where
camera angles can fall out of sync the quickest.

After that, I would just flip on ISBoxer's repeater and start walking forward either by holding down the
keyboard button or by pressing the auto-run (auto-walk in this case) button on the keyboard or mouse. When
they began to veer off I would either stop them and readjust or use the mouse on one of the screens to
actually do my best to manually keep one in sync with the other. If you were using more than 2 characters to
do this with than using the mouse would become much more difficult for each character you added to the mix.

As for how you time your conversation is entirely up to you. I'm not sure if you're aware that the Ace 2.0
library gives you the ability to set timed delays for chat text which comes in handy when trying to orchestrate
a massive conversation amongst your own characters.

when they land, straif one toon.

activate broadcasting, and your toons should move together. Keep in mind, this is for strait line only. For turns, I would avoid the pivot at all costs, as you can not accurately control the amt of rotation of each toon when moving and turning. I.e. outside wheel vs inside wheel.
