i think there is a pause key, depending on what program you are using, it might be a different key than the actual PAUSE key but it will pause the hotkeys so you can type with only your main

im using keyclone

Press "Pause" on your keyboard, that way only the active window will get the input.

When you're done and want to multibox just press "Pause" again.

In here you can specify any key on your keyboard as a pause key.
