    Default instance boosting [Non-RaF] [70-80]

just wondering what order of instances would be easiest?

im thinking UK (68-73) VH (73-77) HoL (77-80)

VH I tried a couple of times and even with RAF it just seems like a waste of time, nowhere near enough mobs to keep xp/hour at a reasonable level

I'd say start with UK. at 73 you can enter both Azjol'nerub instances, Complete all quests there, should make the traveltime worthwhile, if you have HGWT or can summon. Then you can go to Hall of stone, farm to level 75 and farm HoL to 80?

Personally I don't like the HoL / HoS instances and would prefer Drak'theron keep / Gundrak after the Azjol instances.

In general I really doubt how effective Instance boosting is at that level. Personally, I've done the quest area's quite some times, so I can pretty much race through them. I know which quests to skip etc.

I have no facts/numbers to back up anything though.

Depends on how easily you can Leeroy the instances and how well you know the quests like Littleburst suggested.

I would setup a XP per hour addon (xptolevel) and the instancetimer addon. The first few times you might be slow and xptolevel needs a run or two to get its head straight. Some instances have synthetic barriers that don't allow crazy pulling and you have to man handle pull after pull or can only pull a single room at a time.

But once you learn to pull the what you can and the LoS the room to get casters bunched on your you can really start moving, and frankly its sort of fun.

Utgarde Pinnacle, Gundrak can be be pulled pretty much one pull per boss. Old kingdom seems like it could work, but your slaves are dead too quick from aggro dumps oddness.

Seems odd, but I would give some thought to just how fast you can do the TBC instances, Heroic Shattered halls, Mana Tombs and Shadow labs have a crazy number of mobs, which depending how deadly your booster might be worth it. Until 72 or something. Plus the stuff hits for nothing.

Sadly tbc instance boosting after lvl 70 is pretty bad. Blizzard made it so that you take only 10% of XP. It is to discourage people from storming old content instead of leveling in the new one. I didnt try going there without my main lvl 85, so maybe if whole group is 70+-, you would get normal XP.

I am leveling 2 new warlocks now in UK and I am getting 700-900 xp/hour depending if following alts die a lot But I am considering doing quests again, which I realy hate to do, but 30k XP per quest is something to not leting go away.

Yeah I have been running my 4 blood RK + retadin and am able to steam roll through UK and make it through in 20-30 minutes a run. Hardly pop any CDs (Ghoul, dreanei ability, etc...). Still getting good XPs per mob. Around 1300 XPs non rested and 2600 rested. Bosses give around 10-15K each if I recall. If I had more time I could probably grind out a level a day.

Anyone got a name for one of these addons so I can ninja it off of Curse? I prefer one someone uses than downloading 3-4 of them for a test drive.
