How to skill a 5-Mage-Team

low levels i would still go for Frost. For the simple reason that you wont have mirror image to tank for you yet and anything that keeps the mob away from you a little bit longer is good.
I'm obviously talking about elite mobs here, as anything non-elite will just die instantly to whatever spell you use x5.

At Level 23, i only habe 3 Damage-Spells:

Sorry to jump into this so late, but at level 23 an arcane mage has Arcane Blast, Arcane Barrage and Arcane Explosion. That's pretty much all you need the rest of the way to 85. You can level as any spec (5 mages will fry pretty much anything in two casts) but arcane will do the most damage. Anything that manages to survive five Arcane Blasts will die a split second later when you cast Arcane Barrage or (if they happen to be close) Arcane Explosion.

AoE for large groups of mobs can also be a good way to earn extra experience in the lower levels and at various points afterwards (the quests in Deepholm where you have to kill the troggs that are busy fighting the stone dwarves is ridiculously fast and safe AoE experience).

on my i used arcane barrage on most hings and they were one shotted, only used arcane blast if barrage was on cd, and u should have them both at lvl 10ish all 5 of mine are arcane btw and currently at 80

Is always arcane the best choice for 70+ mages, or would five frost mages be any good as well? Could the elementals be used for holding any aggro or are they to weak?

I don't think the elementals will take or hold aggro, but five mages of any spec will plow through quest mobs and elites with little difficulty. Mirror images work for holding aggro on bosses until you can burn the boss down, as I understand it.

At 43+ your Arcane explosion will cost 60% less mana if talented and glyphed.... talk about easy rolling through some big pulls.

No its not. And most of the time you dont even want them to get in range to try that. But they die from very few arcane blasts.

I just leveled a five mage team and went frost from 1-60 and then switched to arcane. They are 85 now and can kill pretty much anything instantly vs over.

I'm still trying to figure out the best way to do dungeons without a tank and healer.

I plan on making some videos once I get better.

My five mages are level 31, I managed to do dead mines at level 25 - at level 31 I tried stockades - but I didn't manage to kill hogger.

When I do get mirror images, how should I expect to fair in various instances as I level?

I do love my (T) round robin focus/symbol (R) polymorph - woo so easy.
