Default 3 Mages- RBG -Macro Request

Hey folks - I'd like to start running my 3 85 mages as part of my guild's RBG.

The strat is that I'll be the attacking team, most likely not paired with a dedicated healer.

My job will be to burst down or pick off stragglers etc or just provide constant pressure. I foresee constant movement and lots of distance eps at play.

Off, the top, I think fire mages for all is best, but.... I'm vry keen to hear composition opinions, experience, and macro pointers.

As always, I'm playing gnomes :-)

    Cheers

I run 5 mages in pvp, from my experience arcane works best because it got the least number of procs to watch for and is easiest to macro because you basically just spam 3 or 4 abilities.

Check out the PVP section aswell.

In general, I think you'll get owned properly, especially as fire. Since you're very very very squishy. As single player you can still blink and run all over the place, which is a lot harder for a multiboxer. This very basic reason is why imo, mages can't be boxed as succesfull as say an elemental shaman, who are much sturdy and can heal.

Besides the whole boxing story, I think Frost mages are -awesome- for RBG. You'd have 6 rings of frost and what not.

    Good luck anyhow
