Default One for any dba's to laugh at

I built an SMSing system for my workplace that relies on getting student data from another system. It used to be automatic but their update to their system is fubar so I have had to do a manual import as needed. This week I got told that getting the automated update going again had moved up in priority and they started work on it.

I created a test table for them, gave them permissions to mirror the production table and all seemed fine until I got an email at 4:05pm today from a client saying there was no list of classes on the web interface for them to send to. I checked it out and they were correct so I went back over my scripts and verifying I was importing/truncating/dropping correct tables and was so I went to ask the other dev if he has been truncating the test table the entire time.

He proceeds to tell me "Yeah I have been, apart from the couple of times this morning when I did it to the production table"....fuck me, he did this shit at like 9am, knew it was production and didn't think it was important to let me know that maybe I'd like to check the table for data integrity...
