Default HC`s showing me who`s boss

I recently started back up on boxing. Leveled my shamans to 85 and dinged monday with them.

Since they had 4k honor and 3k+ justice I could get some gear and get them to 430gs exactly, so enough to run hc`s.

I`m running druid tank with 142k(np with that, only that he has shit aoe agro), holy pala with some raiding gear, and 3 ele shamans with 430gs.

Tryed Blackrock and managed to kill the first boss fter a few whipes but it was a huge pain in the but. Haven`t managed to do it again. I also went to vortex twice and gave it 3 tries. That went even worse. It seems like my paladin cannot keep up healing at all. She will get behind during the cyclone phase, just to much incomming damage. Her gear is pretty good but it feels like her heals are not box friendly.

I can understand that my shamans are a little behind on gear and more would help but they pull 8-9k without BL and I done pugs with 7k dps so that shouldn`t be a problem. Healing seems to be. Anyone experience with holy paladins while boxing?

I would recommend, and my plan as well is, just grind the crap out of normal mode's first until you get fully geared out in drops + JP gear and then move to heroics.

Doing this will ensure you know the fights as well as having the best gear available to you pre-heroic so from that point it should just be all about execution since you have taken gear out of the equation.

Yes you'll get JP's a little slower from normals but it should also end up quicker since you don't have to worry about wipes/quitting and you can just keep queueing for even 1 normal you can beat.

I agree with Knytestorme. It's a big jump into heroics compared to Wrath, you can't really just jump into them in Cata.

Healer was exactly where I saw the biggest difference. It's not really "keep the tank topped up" healing anymore, it's triage healing. You'll want to gear up as much as possible in non-heroics on all your toons so that you tank has as much survivability as possible, your DPS has as much power as possible and your healer has as much longevity as possible. This will take some of the burden off your healer.

329 is Blizzards entry point to heroics there is no guarantee that you will be successfully doing them if you queue up especially as a multiboxer. Thats the same thing I tell people if I do heroics on one of my solo characters: Its shit easy to gear up to 350+ doing normal modes so you should do so.

I took a look at your shamans and seriously (dont get that wrong) someone showing up with that gear - remind you: no single socket filled and no item enchanted - in a heroic has a very high chance to get kicked unless he shows a very good understanding of the encounters or does very high damage. Get yourself the 359 pvp weapon and some of the 359 pve gear for justice before you try to steamroll heroics.

EDIT: while you are at it - fill those prime glyph slots with some stuff... and you did not even spend all talent points.

Gear isn't as important as knowing the fights. First boss of VP is pretty healing intensive for a boxer, but have a look at SFK. It's the easiest heroic imo, cleared it with several fresh 85 groups with no problem.

And be sure to check out the 'Dungeons' section of these forums. Lots of strategies for Heroic bosses. The first two I was able to finish were Shadowfang Keep and Blackrock (skipping the 2nd and 4th bosses).

Easiest (for me) was VP, then Blackrock, only doing first and last boss.
HOO, SFK and now being geared (means being able to survive a bit longer) LostCity (First boss)
So far I haven't bothered trying the other ones for a long time.
For SFK you need to figure out how to survive the first boss when he drops you to almost 0% hp, the others are cake.
