Thread: Cats and Bears

    Default Cats and Bears

Is it possible to multistep these guys? I just resurrected a 5 druid team and I am not sure where to start with 1 bear and 4 cats. I want to use the 2step from my frost DKs, but I'm not sure that will work with combo points. Any suggestions would be helpful thanks.

This is the basic 2-step I'm using on my bear tank (bear + 4 shams):

    step-1:
    #showtooltip
/castsequence reset=target/5 Lacerate, Lacerate, Lacerate, Pulverize, Thrash, Swipe (Bearform), Maul
    /use 13
    /cast Enrage
    /cast Berserk

    /step-2:
    #showtooltip
/castsequence reset=combat/8 Demoralizing Roar, Mangle, Mangle, Mangle, Mangle, Mangle
    #/use 14

Ususlly generates enough rage to manually apply additional Thrash and Maul.

Alright sounds good, still wondering how to do cat druids though.

I`m currently using a simple macro but it works:

    /castsequence reset=combat/8 Lacerate(Bear Form), Lacerate(Bear Form), Lacerate(Bear Form), Pulverize(Bear Form), Maul(Bear Form), Lacerate(Bear Form), Lacerate(Bear Form), Lacerate(Bear Form), Pulverize(Bear Form)
    /Cast Mangle

I need to finetune it since I stackup to much rage but not untill all chars are 85. The druid is tho.

Mangle will be cast whenever up.

I've been using these 2 for cats:

    /castsequence [nostance:3] Cat Form(Shapeshift); [nostealth, nocombat] !Prowl(Cat Form); [stealth] Ravage; Mangle(Cat Form), Rake, Mangle(Cat Form), Mangle(Cat Form)
    /cast [nostealth, combat] Tiger's Fury(Cat Form)
    /changeactionbar 3

    #showtooltip
/castsequence [stealth] pounce; [nostealth] reset=combat Rake, Mangle(Cat Form), Rip, Mangle(Cat Form), Savage Roar
    /changeactionbar 1

I don't really think the Mangle's in the 2nd macro are totally necessary, but it's nice to ensure you get one more combo point before rip goes up. Rip won't overwrite itself if "a more powerful spell is active".
You can also throw maim in there, for multiple cats put it in different spots.

As far as 2 step goes, I've played with that a bit as well, it just depends on whether you want to prioritize Shred or not. Works great with feral charge into a ravage.
You can also use skull bash in a way similar to mind freeze from the dk manifesto.

the /changeaction bar step is similar to ISBoxers 2 step right?

Yeah its the same, sorry for the confusion. The only difference is that you can use the /changeactionbar w/o isboxer. With ISboxer, I'd try that and a priority system and see which gets you better results. Just put the finishers in a macro and place it once or twice on the bars.

    Cool thanks for the help.
