CoH/CoV is fun for awhile and I think has a weak /follow command you could use; I know I had someone on autofollow while we both were Flying, but the grind is HELL after the mid-teens, god forbid past the 30s...my highest was 34 or 35 and the last 2 lvls were only thanks to a Winter Special Boss camped by dozens of other people who gave insanely-high exp...and by the 30s you've quite literally seen every non-archvillain and "dungeon" you'll ever see; they're all the same textures and prefabs with slightly different layouts, sometimes the layouts mix and match but it's the same set of mixable parts, just like most of WoW's caves; the big front room, the bigger open room, the path right leading up stairs, the path left leading down with a river to a pond and has a cliff that the right path exits to, or the Ogre caves.

Half the fun literally is in the character creation, and an altaholic would be in paradise ;p Though I also quit before pvp was implemented, only played a little of CoV's beta, and there were 2 reasons I quit CoH: 1st and foremost: Something was odd with my connection JUST to CoH. It wasn't on my end; it wasn't on their end. I worked directly with their networking dev trying to figure out why I kept having such MAJOR lagspike issues permanently and neither of us could figure it out but we DID know it was in-between us somewhere, neither at fault. Second: It was about the time I got interested in WoW, and once my friend quit and gave me his account that was it ;p Can't play CoH, can't lvl past 34-35 anyways without spending months grinding the same shit and I already achieved my goal of being a zookeeper, keeping 3 Miasma pets up at once, I could literally chain-stun any boss by stacking their 3 holds with mine and debuffing their attack/defense with my radiation powers + healing all 4 of us with an aoe heal lol I was imba

So yeah, I'd say CoH/CoV would give you some fun for awhile. I do NOT recommend FFXI as it requires groups to do anything, is THE grind-fest mmo and is pretty noob unfriendly, according to a friend who plays now noone wants to bother with a noob.
