All accounts freeze up

I finally got my 5 DKs setup correctly in IS and I decided to go hit Ramps up. After the first 2 mobs....all toons freeze up when i hit follow. Closed it all through task manager and starter them again....and same problem. Even froze up a third time after i hit follow again.

Im not sure what else to post to descibe my setup.....just 5 dks.

What kind of system do you have? Does this same kind of thing happen when you play different toons? we need more info.

Sounds like you've got a keymap that runs an infinite loop. May want to double check your settings if you
manually changed anything from the wizard.

Lax is pretty good about helping folks noodle out config issues. Post your XML over in the isboxer forums and I'm sure he (or one of his evil minions) can help.

I'm with MiRai, this sounds exactly like an infinite loop in your key binding, from changing something manually. You can probably do a File, Clear, run the wizard again, not make any changes, Export and launch, and it will probably work fine. If you don't make any changes until AFTER you test it out, then it's easier to know when you broke it

I ended up deleting everything in ISboxer and starting from scratch again. I think there were too many crazy crap setting i did when i didnt know what i was doing.

Its all working as intended now. thanks!

I am at work. Don't have my setups with me.

But I run into the same problem last night.


I create 2 new keymaps. 1 with 1 mapped key to spam DPS buttons (1,2,3) along with IWT. The other key map with 1 mapped key to spam DPS buttons (1,2,3) without IWT.

I then create another mapped key under control key map group. With 2 steps, it toggles between 2 maps. Step 1 is to turn new key map 1 on, new key map 2 off, and print text. Step 2 will turn 1 off, and turn 2 on, and print text. Pretty standard stuff.

As soon as I export my change into InnerSpace, my WOW windows freeze up. I think it is the infinite loop that we are talking about here. The thing is, after trying to fix the problem for 30mins, I gave up. Delete the 2 new keymaps, and delete the toggle mapped key under the control key map. It would not go back. Now as soon as I load this setup, my WOW would freeze.

So under what condition exactly, would the config cause the infinite loop here ?

I am sort of stuck as this XML has all my setups in it. and I don't have a version to roll back to. If I have to start from scratch again, would take me days to get back to where I was.
