    Default Multiboxing huntards in arena

    Comp:
This composition consists of playing 4-5 hunters.

    Specs:
We have 3 different to chose from as a hunter.

    - Beast Mastery
This is how I specc my main.
    http://www.wowhead.com/talent#cfhfsoGdRRoZI0M

This is my specc for my alt hunters, The reason why I spec BM is the simple reason of insane burst while in BW, and crazy pet dmg. Pre s9 my pets were critting for 15-20 k on full PvP geared toons. And exotic pets can buff your team pretty good compared to "normal" pets.

    - Pets
For a PvP group I`d go with:
Hunter 1 - Devilsaur for 5 % critt, 10 % reduced healing debuff on target
Hunter 2 - Corehound for reduced casting time on target (and Bloodlust7Heroism for PvE)
Hunter 3 - Silithid for stamina buff and web ability (same as a priest buff)
Hunter 4 - Shale Spider for kings (same as a paladin buff)
Hunter 5 - Bear for reduced physical dmg taken (if you run with 5 hunters)

    - Marksmanship
I havent gotten too deep in the MM tree, but have tried it a few times. The spec does have some potential in arena. You can round robin scatter shot and silence to lock down 1 healer.
    Specc for your main.

    Spec for your alts.

    DPS rotation:
    - Beast Mastery
Main DPS shot for a BM hunter is Arcane Shot and Kill Command. Its important as a BM hunter to allways keep Kill Command on CD, use it everytime the CD is off.
    1.
    /cast Hunter's Mark
    /petfollow [target=pettarget,exists]
    /cast Mend Pet
    /petattack [target=pettarget,noexists]

    2.
    Kill`O`Button
    #showtooltip Bestial Wrath
    /cast Call of the Wild
    /cast Rabid
    /cast Rapid Fire
    /cast Blood Fury
    /cast Bestial Wrath
    /cast [exists,target=pettarget] Kill Command
    /use 13
    /
    use 14

    3. Spam Arcane Shot/Kill Shot
If you run out of focus use this to regen focus. This will shoot Cobra Shot, and use Kill Command everytime its off CD.
    #showtooltip Cobra Shot
    /assist focus
/castsequence reset=6 Cobra Shot, Cobra Shot, Cobra Shot, Cobra Shot
    /cast [exists,target=pettarget] Kill Command

If you are locked down, use this on all hunters. These abilities can hit pretty hard when 4-5 hunters are hitting you.
    /assist focus
    /cast Raptor Strike
    /cast Wing Clip

    Disengage macro:
I have this macro on my main hunter
    /cast Ice Trap
    /cast Disengage

On my other hunters I use this:
    /cast Explosive Trap
    /cast Disengage

    - Marksmanship
For Marksmanship I use the same macros as in Beast Mastery spec, except my Kill`O`Button.
This uses Aimed Shot as your primary attack, with Chimera Shot closely followed.
When it comes to rotation Id start with sending pets in, pop trinkets/CDs, shoot Chimera Shot first then spam Arcane Shot. If you run out of focus, use this:
    #showtooltip Steady Shot
    /assist focus
/castsequence reset=6 Steady Shot, Steady Shot, Steady Shot, Steady Shot
    /cast [exists,target=pettarget] Kill Command

    Disengage macro:
I have this macro on my main hunter
    /cast Ice Trap
    /cast Disengage

On my other hunters I use this:
    /cast Explosive Trap
    /cast Disengage

If you are locked down, use this on all hunters. These abilities can hit pretty hard when 4-5 hunters are hitting you.
    /assist focus
    /cast Raptor Strike
    /cast Wing Clip

    Gear PvP:

    - Gemming

Agility ftw! No matter what specc you are in!

    - Enchanting
As a BM hunter you can mix it up. But a pure mastery build combined with mastery use trinkets would give you insane pet critts. I havent tried this one yet, but am going to try it the next two weeks. Will let you know how it went.

    Strats:
    - Healers
As any multiboxing comp you need a solid healer such as a priest or holy paladin. Mix it up to suit your playstyle.

    - Arena
The idea of multiboxing hunters in arena is to suprise the opposing team.
Start in stealth, dont move at all, and make sure your healer is not LOSing you, or is too far away. Let them come to your healer before you use my 3 step kill recipe. Its the basic start on every map, except Dalaran Sewers. Here you cant start stealthed, would be washed out and the opposing team would know what to do (most of the times)

    - BG
In BGs its crucial that you team up with a healer, especially the smaller BGs. Hunters dont have healing abilities, so a healer is a must here!

    - RBG
I havent tried RBG yet on my hunters. Will be doing that in the upcoming weeks.
Id run with 4 hunters as an attack team with a personal resto druid.
Get 1 war, 1 DK, 1 mage, 1 holy pala and 1 disc priest/resto shaman to guard towers and call out incs while your team assists whoever needs some Horde/Alliance bastards killed.

If I`ve missed out on anything crucial, please let me know. And im not a grammar god, so trolls keep out!

Not sure how far you'd get.

Hunters rock at range, more so than most.
But you cannot always guarantee range.

Some people love them in BG's.
Many have tried and given up on them.
Not saying you cannot make them work, or that they're not workable.
If you have hunters, at any level bracket, you could test them out.

    Hey,

I've had the same thought but I agree, they'd stink in an arena if you came up against....say another boxing doing a 4 DK team or 4 Ret team.

In BGs however, especially the larger brackets, you'd own! I'm doing a 3 hunter team at the moment with only questing greens and I've swung battles against entire BoA toon teams. They just have unrivaled damage at a distance. You're right, no one can outheal or defend against that.

I had five bm hunters at 70 during wotlk. They were devastating in av. Id stand on the hills overlooking choke points and put a ring of frost traps, ice traps, and flares around them team. Id keep 1 or 2 pets with me to bestial wrath/intimidate sneaky rogues. Only mages could match the range and a single mage versus five hunters meant instagib if i had any mana at all. Hunters are a fun class but with all the movement and LOS in arena i would think it would be very frustrating.

    Keep us updated!
    Working on the following teams:
    (85) - PVP - Holy Paladin, Holy Priest, Resto Druid
    (85) - Paladin tank, cat druid, fire mage, demon lock, holy priest
    (80) - Dk tank, destro lock, bm hunter, enh shaman, holy priest
    (85 pally/lock) powerleveling 34 toons under 70

Well, hunters can run when stealthed giving a great advantage in arena. And lets face it, if you kill a healer on the opposing team, your chances for a win is good blizzard gave hunters a larger utility of pets in cataclysm! With 4-5 hunters you can stack great buffs which will give you awesome survivability in BGs and arena! Im currently leveling 5 hunters, main is lvl 81, rest is lvl 73. And I must say, Ive never had this much fun in BGs. Not even my 4 x lvl 85 shamans have this kind of dmg or burst right noe Im using a devilsaur for reduced healing debuff + 5 % critt, corehound for 25 % reduced casting time + bloodlust, raptor for 12 % reduced armor debuff, silithid for stamina buff and going for a shale spider once my main dings lvl 82 for the kings buff

Cool, if you plan to stay in the 60s, youre all set.

At 85 you will get wrecked.
