Allright, so we did another 3 games, new pugs. And we got owned. I think we lost 3 or 4 games. All twin peaks / Warsong gulch. Quiding just getting CC'd to fuck which makes a boxer a lot less usefull. FC kiting all over the place, etc.

So I think it's actually very profitable to not have FC games, a boxer is a lot stronger in those. Since a boxer can defend in there, unlike in Twin peaks/Warsong.

I ran some RBG's at the start of the season.

Running 5 in WSG/TP is bad. Your team is too inflexible. The problem we ran into was that sure we could win every single battle, but invariably what happened was one guy from the other team camped our flag room, whenever we popped their carrier midfield they'd pick up the flag again. Then I'd be forced to go blow up their carrier and then it became a race as to who could blow up the other flag carrier up. I actually usually won this race by my team was usually unable to actually cap before the flag was taken again With this in mind, I'd never run more than 4 in RBG's and probably just run 3.

EOTS was the most difficult when it should be the easiest. This is due to the new flag capping mechanic for EOTS. The passive control system in regular EOTS favors boxing much more. The 10 man limitation is also problematic. Our strategy became thus; boxer waits to see which way the other team commits hard. Boxer + rest of team - flag cappers intercept and defeat their main force. Boxer continues to cap a third node, rest of team controls 2 nodes and contends central flag. I think we ultimately went about 3 and 2 in EoTS.

Gilneas is the easiest to win in my estimation. Strategy as follows. One stays at first point, 9 ride up over the hill. The 9 have one objective, engage the other teams main force and defeat them, if they come up the hill themselves smash them. If they go to WW go and smash them at WW. Once the other team is defeated, one detaches from main force and caps WW and 8 proceed to other teams base to pen them in, camp their GY and try the 3cap. Speed is of the essence since you are banking on limiting how many can slip out. This strategy worked in the 2 or 3 games we adopted it for.

AB - Simply put, Boxer never defends and just caps. One or two people should always be avaliable to defend what boxer grabs. If you try to play defensive and reactionary you will lose to a smart team. Our first game in AB we tried the take and hold 3 route. It worked for half the game, then the other team stopped defending ANY points and just started plowing into 2 objectives at once repeatedly. We lost a close game to this strategy as we desperately tried to take and hold 3. Our wins all came from leaving minimal defenders and staying constantly on the offensive. Slow game as you generally look at only 2 or maybe 3 nodes ever active but the coordinated DPS of your boxer usually means your team wins any big fights, and wins them decisively.

The strategies you normally employ without a boxer tend to not work because you are not playing to the strengths of a boxer. Ensure the other team is always reacting to what you do, rather than you reacting to what they do. This is the most important thing. If you allow them to dictate the impetus of a match you've lost because by its nature a boxer has limited flexibility. If we make them react to us, we limit the impact our lack of flexibility can have on the match. Find strategies to do this and you will achieve your highest level of success imho.

thanks thats the one i find it as well from google before just posting it here.

This is our first stab at offering very powerful gear through Battlegrounds and it is going to take some tweaking to get right. We understand that some more casual players may have given up on the system and we want a chance to fix that. It’s possible we could require fewer players to form a team, such as merging two groups of 5 together – at least we’d know for sure that you had 2 healers and had put some thought into your comp. We could also put in some kind of browsing system to make it easier to find people looking for Rated Battlegrounds.

even the browsing system would help a lot to be fair blizzard wonted it to be more guild i think trying to get guilds togaver more but its not really working even with rep and stuff its not that hard to get back up. all i see in level 25 guilds is fighting over the "extra" 5% gold from drops going to Guild bank and them going thats my money!!!!!!!
