Season 10 honor gear ...

I know this sucks, and I as well grinded out a ton of honor over the weekend. Got all 5 toons full S9 + weps in preps for S10. I even had about 2500honor before I stoppled last night, I was trying to cap out at 4k.

One way to look at it -- you are just out 4k honor. If they didn't keep. You still need the grind the honor out in the next few weeks before you can buy the S10 weps anyways.

On the bright side, with the S9 gear, I think I went 8-4 in arenas tonight. Much better than the last 2 weeks when I was in blues.

But yes, Bliz should have given a better heads up in the 4.2 patch notes, I mean, WTF.

I'm not really mad that I lost my 4K saved up honor. I'm more irked that we weren't informed so I wasted my time last week to grind out gear on two of my teams. Not only that, because like everyone else, I assumed this would be the final version of the honor gear, it only made sense, so I went ahead and spent ~20k gold on gemming/enchanting/reforging. It really wasn't okay to pull this over on their playerbase. They bait and switched us and it's not okay to say "Sorry, we'll let you know next time" and leave it at that.

I firmly believe that if they don't do something, anything even, to remedy this, they'll lose a large chunk of subscribers, at least from the PvP community. They're already in some pretty hot water for several Season 9 shenanigans, including MMR exploiting.

I'm curious to see what their final word will be on this, and whether they'll take any action.

I actually didn't do any BGs this weekend as I was level my mage team. Got them from level 59 to 73, not bad.

I thought I would regret not taking part in AV - it was very tempting and my entire guild was having fun and begging me to go!

However, I was damn determined to level my mage ASAP. Then Blizzard does this and I'm stunned.

I'm sitting on 4K honor and 4K JP, so I can upgrade a lot of my gear.

Yars, I am all 5. I did terrible against you. Up until that point I was 6-0, I was getting a lil' excited about getting the 10-0 hot streak, lol.

When I saw 4DKS 1Pally pop up on Gladius, I didn't even know what to do to counter.

Haha, yeah. I saw 4 DKs + Holy Pally pop on my gladius and told my partner to blow everything or we would lose.

I managed to kill your Paladin right off the bat - got caught in my arcane torrent spam.

I was 8 - 0 after that match, but got a losing streak right after and logged for the night.

This is the second time I've faced another boxer in 5s. The first time is was 4 DKs + Priest in full Vicious and I only had 1/2 Vicious. I lost two toons right off the bat, but managed to pull off a win.
