Default Optimal XP for 6+ boxes

Been mainly 5-boxing and added 2 more today while working toward possibly 10-boxing.

I had forgotten that once you go over 5 by converting the party to a raid you lose the group XP bonus and can't progress on quests. Not being able to progress quests really hurts and the lost XP bonus is pretty noticable.

Looking for recommendation on group formation. Not sure if I should run two seperate groups and double kill everything or what. Would apprecaiate any thoughts people have.

This is one of the things that is really nice about Rift. I can run my 5-man team and help friends with quests, rifts, etc. and they still get credit for everything.
    Now playing: WoW (Garona)

You can make the group you want to get exp and tag with them and have those ungrouped outside two just help kill faster.

Always make sure that the mobs are not grey to anyone helping or in the group.

You can put the two you want to get the exp in a group and ungroup everyone else and tag with them. Or if the mobs are to high for the lowbies to hit then put one tagger and the two lowbies in a group tag with the high level and have your other 4 ungrouped help kill faster. Again mobs must not be grey to the tagger.

You can make two groups and just randomly kill and have exp randomly go between the groups.

Ya you never get into raid at any time.

I don't know whats best for quests as i never do them.

Either have to run 2 groups, or level via PvP. BG Weekends provide really quick honor, and was always fun for me.

Mob tagging is not very efficient, you can do all the quests twice over and get more exp in less time than it takes than doing it via tagging. Not to mention mob tagging is incredibly boring and will make you want to /wrists.

Thanks for the input & recommendations. At this point my laptop can barely play 6+ clients so PVP would be miserable with the lag/frame rates. My desktop likely can do it but I typically play on my laptop.

I created two groups and with everyone following the active client in the forground. As long as my two group leaders that I start with are talented for max range and I engage on the move it seems I can consistently start the combat with them getting the first hit and then the rest engage and things go down quickly. Occasonally the other group takes the kill but most times the starting leader's group gets the credit. This allows me to only move to the physical locations of quests once and get it done for both groups.

The more outside helpers you have to kill mobs faster the more effieicnt to becomes, ya with one group you will probably quest faster but like me with 31 accounts tagging (or "random tagging" i.e. just kill and someone will get the exp lol) is very very nice.

The key is to make sure no mob is grey to anyone.

LIke questing dosn't make you want to /wrists even more lol ....

How do you explain that you've been at it for 2.5 years, and still have 2 thirds (23 out of 36) of your toons under 58 (16 under 50 even), when people on this same forum show they level groups of 5 to 80 in about 30h played? (like this)
