    Default Boxing Melees Question

    Hi
I was boxing shaman and other mixed teams a while, I love my paly tank, 4 shamies.
Now I wanted to try something new, so I decided to box 4 DKs and a priest.
Setting up the macros and so on, no problem.

But how do you manage to do the interact with target stuff without ending with all your guys running circles around a mob and then running errands all over the place after it's dead??

The only way I figured out , was to play one of the melees instead of the priest as main and press follow as soon as the mob is dead ...

I know, it's basics .. but maybe someone could give me a hint

    thx

No, that's just how IWT+CTM works.

Its the best option for PvP. As for PvE, i know a lot of people just disable CTM(doesn't require any ISBoxer tweaking), and walk up to their mobs, break follow and attack the mob. You can still use it, as long as you're careful.
    I triple box on Arthas(US-PvP) and Magtheridon(US-PvP)
I also have solo toons on Turalyon(my main raider) and Destromath

ah ok, thanks then, I still use the good ol' Octopus for broadcasting keys and mouse btw ...
so, no ISBoxer stuff for me
well then, I guess I will have to be more carefull, my little DKs pull some unfriendly adds each time I am doing some instances

I use ISBoxer and run 4x DKs w/ a Disc Priest, I lead w/ the priest and have IWT spammed w/ my dps key, I have my "Back" key bound to my mouse scroll up button so when they reach a target, I just scroll up and they stop running, I have scroll down bound to /follow lead char and its just reflex after a while. I primarily PVP battlegrounds, and have my priest spamming this macro:

    /dismount [mounted]
    /targetenemy [noharm][dead]
    /stopmacro [channeling]
    /castsequence [target=targettarget] reset=target/4 Power Word: Shield, renew
    /use 14

I use Grid w/ clique for healing individual targets w/ flash heal/pennance.

Don't spam interact with target any more than you need to and your slaves won't keep re-trying to move. IWT spam is for PVP, where the circling movement is useful. In PvE you should only use it as often as required to interact with a mob, who should become stationary once agro has been established. I "spam" it a max of 3 times once I have my mob enaged.

You're running 4 DKs. If you want to run your priest as main, then I'd suggest bringing mobs to you instead of running slaves to mobs. Death grip is an insanely fun ability and I just giggle like a fool when I CC a slew of mobs and Deathgrip them into the blender one by one.

What I found helpful is to IWT with the melee (driving with the healer) and then hit a movement key to stop the IWT when the melee get close enough to aggro the intended target. That way they stop short and are already autoattacking when the mob comes within melee range.

Also, another tactic I have used when trying to avoid aggroing other mobs near the intended target, I IWT with the melee, stop in range of Death Grip and DG the target with one of the DK's. This obviously doesn't work for Paladins or warriors.
