when i leveled my druids.. i had a blast. they were very easy to quest with, once the got flight form. Also, when starfall was still OP.. i could round up TONs of mobs and kill them all fast..it made any kill/collection quests a breeze! And item collections were easy as well ( hover and loot )

That being said, they were only good for questing. Almost any other team seemed better in dungeons.
