Default New guy here, but have been reading alot and watching alot... Very interested.

So alot of people use the shamans or mages and a healer for from what i can see ease of doing the same thing across all sessions. I am honestly tired of looking for heroric groups, so there is my problem. I have a T5 Feral Druid, T5 Holy pally, and a New Hemo rogue that is geared out in S1 pvp gear. All different ability's, cooldowns etc, is this even something that would be possible to setup without needing to be a genius lol. I would be using this for instance runs mainly herorics because i want to get badges. So without further ado, is this something that is even feesible.

Also thank you for any and all help that can be provided, it is very much appreciated.

If you are new to boxing 3 melee classes will not be easy, but it is doable. The biggest learning curve will be that you already have your 3 70 so you didn't learn how they work together getting to 70 together. The best part is that you have a well gear pally. You could make another team (like 4 shams) and power lvl them to like 60. Then just quest till 70, instance to 70, or both. Shouldn't take that long if your pally is well geared.

I am more looking to gear up the 3 with some badge gear to fill in some spots that can be upgraded. The rogue is my main concern but when you look for a group they want tanks and healers and i have both on seperate accounts so this solution came to mind. So I would rather play these if at all possible. Thanks

It is definetly doable and worth a shot. One plan would be:

Make your druid the main, paly and rogue as alts. When going in to attack with the druid, just stealth your rogue and put him on autofollow. Using your druid, attack the mob and continue moving forward until the mob turns around, then stop. if done correctly, your rogue should still be stealthed and the mob should have his back to him. This will allow you to use the Rogues openers and main dps attacks. You will most likely need seperate keybindings for each class (as in pressing 1 on your main only does something on your main). Healing is easily macroed and should not be an issue.

as mentioned playing 3 melee (or even 1druid + rogue with the pally as healer) is quite hard and frustrating
the reason you see MOST of us playing caster classes

even though this is off course a possible setup i must warn you
1druid +1 rogue +1 pally, WILL NOT be enough to solo heroics easily... so you will either end up bringing in others anyway, or growing tired

also point of interest, you will have to create new accounts ($$$) and do char transfers ($$$) before you can multibox them at once, only to find out it may not be what you like, and have thrown that money away :S

ok, that was the discouriging part, now to grab you back in
multiboxing is quite a new breeze, totally different than the normal grind playing 1 char,

but as others have suggested, if you truly want to just do your own heroics.
Level 4 shamans using your pally prot specced to boost them to lvl 50 or 60.
this allows you to do instances with
    druid tank, 4 shammys,
    pally tank, 4 shammys,
druid tank 3 shammy's, pally healer

and in each of those cases you can ALWAYS try to mix in your rogue (again, melee's are hard to multibox, but it JUST MIGHT work )

I'm in a similar situation. My main is a BT raiding mage, and I have 4 alt 70s in various stages of gearing. Finding groups for heroics is ironically difficult given how geared out my guild is; everyone gets on to raid, but aren't very interested in 5-mans. It doesn't help getting a group together that everyone with a tank or healer raiding main wants to play dps on their off days. When we do get one going we tend to destroy the places, which I think they also find boring (I call it 'relaxing'). On top of all this, I'm up early on weekends, which is far from our normal raid times, and I'm very tired of doing dailies over...and over...

Multi-boxing seemed like a new challenge, so I recently started a 5-shammy team. 5 shammies can "solo" heroics once geared out, and so far I'm fairly easily able to clear all level-appropriate instances -- they're 37 now and currently farming SM armory. My thinking is when they're 70, I can sub out any other toon I want for a badge or drop farm run. Profit!

I'm kind of falling in love with the 5 shammies tho. They're just so awesome. I'm really liking multi boxing in general, except for the occasional "i'm gonna report you for botting" tells it's the most fun I've had since I started playing WoW.

I appreciate all the great replys, my rogue druid and paladin are all on different accounts already which is why this idea came to mind. I have come across in AV some of the 5 box shamans, but i also can see how it would be difficult to multi box 3 totally different class's. I am not looking to start over with 5 shamans just because i dont have the time to do so and I love playing the rogue. I have access to 5 other accounts that my friends and I use, so getting 2 more accounts to do so is not a issue. I was just hoping to take care of the tank/ healing for herorics since i know i can do both and dont have to worry about a guy in greens wanting to tank a heroric lol. Anyway thanks for the reply's I will keep on looking for groups on the rogue, since this is not optimal. Thanks guys and look forward to seeing more of you in AV.

    hooooooooo back up

be warned, multiboxing makes you get a lot of attention, even so from GM's who get paged nonstop by all the newbies who think you are hacking.
these GM's HAVE TO investigate every call.. if they notice 1 char is playing several character on accounts that are under DIFFERENT names, instaban !

be warned, make sure all the accounts you are playing are under your own name, already enough ban reports on this forum caused by this already
