Default Gathering Quest, Yes or No?

Alright so it's my 2nd day Dual-Screening and I am running 2 Warlocks which is actually really good and working for me. But when it comes to questing I hate it! I have the macros for sharing quests but is it worth doing the quests that are like "Pick up this item off of a mob" or "Pick up this many plants on the ground"? Should I just skip them? I grinded all the way to lvl 11. Just need some advice!

    Anything Helps Yall!
    Thanks!

No. With the changes to quest and level XP, you don't need to bother.

I skipped half of STV, all of badlands (except uldaman) and almost every collection quest and I'm still ahead of the old solo leveling guides. It's awesome.

Yes... if you enjoy that sort of pain.

I skip most collection quest. The one that I complete are the ones that I can buy... Dreadfang Venom, Arakkoa Feathers... or if they have a really high drop rate.

Yes and No. No because the drop rate sucks ass on most of them.

Yes Because some lead to mad XP and Quest Chains.
Yes Because sometimes the drop rate is like 75%

Most drop quests are very doable, I just use Free For All, loot with my main, and if I see a quest item drop, I loot it with the add that still needs it. Sure, it takes more time, but I also check if the follow up is worth it. Farming 25 items took me an hour last night, but the chain goes on untill lvl 52, and at 46 now..
(ooh and I had a world epic drop for me  )

What is the best quest guide to use for dual-boxing. Is there a Horde quest guide that shows the gather quests vs kill quests?
    Pally Tank:Pally Protection Tank
    2x DPS Shammy: DPS Shamen
1 x DPS Druid: Balance DPS Druid
1 x Resto Shammy: Resto Shammy

I use Jame's Horde Leveling Guide for mine (the old version as I remember where I can cut corners when boxing). Joana's works OK too, though it costs money.

Collection quests are situational. If you need them for a quest chain with a really rad reward at the end, yeah you want to do them. If the things you need to kill are plentiful and close together, maybe (depending on if you have an AoE group.) If you can trade the items to your alts, yes (Although these are very rare.) Otherwise, just doing collection quests cause they're there.... no.

lol...well if you get bored as heck doing instances like I was then do all quests for awhile. But I basically did all instances as soon as I could. I stopped at Uldaman then started doing quest out of boredom. Then my last was Sunken Temple for the experience plus I wanted that trinket you get for the Shamans. And oh was that a trip, dealing with multiple mobs at once. Scarlet Monestery gave me alot of experience as well in how to deal with multiple mobs. All in all, quests of any kind do not give you the experience you will need for harder instances.

PVP though will always occur while doing quests. The only times I ever die is because of ?? higher level players ganking my group. If your into keeping track of those gankers...then get "OPIUM" addon. I love that program. I can always go back to see who PKed me and then look them up in the armory later to see what level they are.

My toons are 75% of the way through 69 now (4 Shaman) and I did *every* quest post 60 including all of the crappy collection quests. I was scared to hit like 68 or 69 and be done with all the quests through Shadowmoon Valley... And with good reason! I did 20% of level 67 in Auchindoun doing the questline to bring Thrall to Outlands and now I've only got a dozen quests left in Shadowmoon.

If I hadn't of done all of those collection quests I'd have been left with 30-40% or more of level 69 with no quests to do. Now, I love my instancing but I'd rather just quest it all the way up
