Question regarding PVE/PVP "point" system

Hello community!

Need confirmation on the PVE/PVP "point" system:

Honor point = you kill opposing faction (within level limit) and you get Honor points in world pvp, WSG, AB, EOTS, etc, except Arena.

Justice point = you can convert Honor point to Justice point. You get Justice points from PVE (heroic/raiding)

Conquest point = Arena-ing (Yes, this is a word, I quote from Mosg2!)

Valor point = Rewards from Cata raiding only?

Did I get this correctly? Missing anything else?

I forgot that you could convert PvP points to PvE points and vice versa. that would be a faster way to get geared for one or the other!

I think you have it right. Honor points are awarded for non-rated battlegrounds (and world PVP kills, for what it's worth). Conquest points are awarded when you win an arena or rated battleground match. Conquest points are also awarded (in a small amount) if you win the random daily non-rated BG.

Justice points are awarded for defeating the final boss when running a random daily dungeon, up to a maximum of seven such awards per week. Valor points are awarded for defeating raid bosses and if you kill the final boss in the random daily heroic dungeon. Like with Conquest points, the latter is only available once per day.

Justice points can be purchased with honor, at a 125-point loss if I am not mistaken (250 points cost 375 points). And vice-versa. I think you can do the same with Conquest/Valor but am not sure.

You can only go Valor -> Conquest (250/250). You cannot trade Conquest for Valor much to my disappointment.

You also get justice points for killing every heroic 5-man boss.

Note when you convert from Honor - Justice, or Justice-Honor you do it at a loss, it takes 325 points in one to get 250 in another. I think it's mostly for players that prefer one type of play over another to give them something for the points that would otherwise go to waste. It is a handy way to pick up points in your least favorite way of playing. I myself love PvP, and a BG weekend is faster to get honor points than chain heroics are (not to mention some pugs just are fail)

It takes 375 points, the rate is 1:1.5.

Daily Heroics = Valor too.
