Default Since the beginning of Cata I have latency issue.

Since the beginning of Cata I have latency issue and it go on and off. For single chars play, I can get latency of 200 ms to 10,000 ms.

As a result, I do not play much on multiboxing. Anyone of you have this issue. Even I have try those proxy service provider, the latency still can go up to 10,000ms. At times, all latency is normal until I went into a dungeon or raid or BG and all hell break lose on the latency.

Any of you have encounter such problem.

You don't mention your location nor does your profile list it, but because of my special powers I can see you're
from Singapore or at least bouncing off of a Singapore IP. I can't give you any useful information rather than
the basic look at your router, do speed tests, do a trace route, and possibly talk to your ISP. Unless there is
someone else specifically from Singapore using the same ISP then your chances of finding a fix here could be
    close to nil.

Have you looked at the Blizzard technical forum at all? They would most likely have much more information
than any one of us, unfortunately.

Yes, I am from Singapore. You are right are chances of having it fix is close to nil. A lof of my guild mate suffer the same fate as me from time to time. Mass DC during raid boss fight....ouch.

I have look up at all the source but ISP point at Blizzard and Blizzard point at ISP. Try all avenue to reduce the latency just short of paying a $1,000 a month lease line to play online game.

I am just whinning and I like to know how many fellow boxers have encounter such problem. Thank you for the reply.

Are you using Starhub, aka Laghub?

I am using SingNet, and the latency hovers from 250ms to 350ms, which is rather good, considering our distant from the servers.

Which wow server are you in?

I am using Singnet Magix ATM connection. I have starhub connection too. Both suffer the same fate from time to time.

I play on Blackrock server alliance and Frostmournt server horde.

or convince Blizzard to setup a server here, just like Starcraft 2!!! lol

When I was using Starhub and ran into your problem, I called them, the technical guy gave me the impression that they need to work with their business partner in US to 'tweak' the setting, if it was not a faulty system problem or maintenance work issue. Regardless, I believe Singtel/Starhub has to do something about it as long as your dun allow them to close the case.
