Will probably add 2 toons when I need to farm Soul Flame Essences for dragonwrath (started to collect the embers today). From what I read they drop from trash, so seems like 7 manning that might be a better idea.

No, you need to do a couple of quests, and then "All Seeing Eye', where you need to collect 25 eternal embers. They drop only from raid bosses (got 2 per 25m boss today). Once you have them (should take couple of weeks) again couple of quests and then you need to collect again 25 seething cincers, that are also dropping from raid bosses. Not sure about drop rate. Now once done the final step seems to be to collect 250 soul flame essences, who drop from trash mobs. Combine them with something ragnaros drops and you should get the staff. It's for the 250 soul flame essences that I want to farm with my multiboxing team, since I highly doubt my guild can be arsed to farm trashmobs for me to that extend. Since we don't raid wednesday (when reset is in EU) I have till thursday evening to farm trash each week.

1. Did you reforge your toons for raiding to do the trash? (since raiding needs more hit, which is wasted when just doing heroics)
2. What is your average iLevel on you toons? I run the same comp but with Pally instead of warrior(altho my warrior is 84,3 so no problem leveling him up).

1. Nope, on tank I stack avoidance, since as a boxer hit / overaggro should be way easier to deal with then with other players. Shamans are hitcapped for raids, something i do standard. Priest is basically just a copy/paste reforge from what I found on the armory from a couple of top guilds, not really that much into pve healing on priests.
2. The tank sits at 365 ilv, 1 shaman 371, 2 shamans at 360, priest at 354.

These toons are on a different realm than my 'main' realm. Got the opportunity to join a late night raiding guild that runs 10s, guild from an irl friend (wasn't aware he plays wow till a month and a half ago). Everyone in that guild has a main in a progression guild on other realms during normal evening time. So it's a pretty awesome way to gear up toons since the guild was 11/13 hc on 10. People transfer back and forth their toons all the time. Raids never start prior than 1h30 am and it takes like 4 hours to clear out everything, 1 night a week. They don't start to raid till everything is down on the mains and everyone knows the fights inside out. Really like this concept of a cross realm alt raid to gear up toons.

I'm about 10 iLevel short in general. Now I know what I should work for before attempting. thanks for sharing. With the other tips you've given on shammies, I'm now doing better dps, and hopefully I'll be able to do some trash runs myself in a little while.

Got a pm how I handled the debuff from big dude (molten giant?) with 1 tank.

- DPS are spread out, priest in the back, max range to tank.
- pop everything at start (3x fire ele, 3x earth ele) , lust
- at 4 stacks of the armor debuff.I leap of faith my tank to the back
- taunt him with ele 1 (castsequence rockbiter weapon, unleash elements, frost shock, flametongue weapon)
- taunt him with ele 2
- taunt him with ele 3
- tank taunts back as soon as his debuff is gone

rinse and repeat

He has only 3.5 (?) m HP, so he drops pretty fast

Wow that's pretty complicated for that one guy. Small update from yesterday's farm session. With about 12 hours of farming I have 2 epics to show for it. It's either been drastically nerfed or I have extremely bad luck.

Let me take 1 step back

this place is farmable with 5. But as usual, it is a range farmable place. Guess I still have to level another 5 toons. I see some nasty melee range cleaves/AOEs.

Yes the fire giant has a nasty aoe knock back. I hate those guys and only kill the one at the zone in.
