Default Keyclone and mouse click passing

    Hey everyone,

Haven't boxed since Cataclysm launched and decided to dust off the Shaman.

I've been messing around with Keyclone's 'pass-mouse-click hotkey' feature but ran in to a snag/bug.

If I assign the hotkey in keyclone to the same in-game keybinding for my AoE spell, only the instance of WoW I had focused at the time uses the ability (all copies still track the mouse though).

If I assign the hotkey in keyclone to a different key, it works normally when I hit the key in-game to activate the spell *after* it has already started tracking the mouse.

Is this normal? Am I doing something wrong? Checked to make sure I wasn't overlapping DNP or RR keys and I'm not sure where else to look

I don't know the answer to this question because I've never used Keyclone. Rob would know for sure but he hasn't posted on dual-boxing.com since December and hasn't logged in since January. I can't speak for Rob but my belief is that he has moved on. Not talking out of my ass, here is his account, you can see his last activity and his posts: http://www.dual-boxing.com/member.php?u=774

You can probably contact him through e-mail or I hear he has done support over the phone.

With all of that said, as I understand it, it sounds to me like this is expected behavior with Keyclone. People routinely come to ISBoxer from Keyclone and apply for a trial to see if it will let them properly use their ground-targeted AOE spells (Earthquake, Hurricane, Rain of Fire, Blizzard), and it does. They also get me. If you've got a problem, yo I'll solve it.

Anyway, up to you of course whether or not you would like to continue trying to make the best of what you have. Good luck

    hi Lax,

I use still use keyclone for boxing and am thinking of switching. However, I now box on 6 computers (sometimes I 20 box with 4 windows each) and use multiplicity to move my mouse across screens. Does ISBoxer support multi-computer setups? I've seen alot of demo for it using 1 computer and multimonitors but haven't seen anything across computers. thanks!

Wasn't aware Keyclone had become so antiquated

I definitely don't mind an alternative though, will have to give ISBoxer a try tonight.

    Thanks all!

    This software for Windows
Is there a similar software for Mac (Apple)?

The 5-PC limit is mostly to prevent abuse, not because I want you to buy another license for your 6th PC.

And yes, ISBoxer supports multiple PCs

If you do use ISBoxer (and I can tell you it is the most complete solution I've used), there is still at least one bug and some caveats you'll need to understand with multiple-PC setups.

See this forum for more info. http://isboxer.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=36

There are a few of us that use ISBoxer on multi-PC setups, though not many from what I can tell. Holler and we will at least be able to point you in the right direction.

[edit] I do use ISB for broadcasting my ranger AoE's (ground-targeted) in Rift and it does work fairly well.
    Now playing: WoW (Garona)
