One thing though, why don't use use the pet's Frost Nova/Freeze? to lock them in place + shatter?

Yeah, maybe it would be a good idea to use that on the main that is, using it on the alts would be too much a hassle, I'm not sure though.

I'll be sure for you then. +100% crit and +20% dmg on Frostbolts on frozen targets. Besides that they're locked in place and can't melee you. Besides that you can Deep Freeze them to make the effect last 5 seconds and stun them.

REALLY Just pop 1 pet's freeze/frost nova at each pull and enjoy the critspree. Also using Deep Freeze on Round Robin will make it even better.

Ahh, yeah ofc only got 25secs CD aswell, so that would be alot of extra dmg, thanks for the tip !

Only good for trash, on bosses arcane hits harder than deepfreeze and does it all the time. My highest crit has been around 110k at 85 and I don't have a 25 sec CD on arcane blast. I remember a long time ago frost mages hitting for 150k, but those days are over.

I ment for trash packs, yes

And well, arcane lives off CD's. So if you can pop CD's you'll always outdamage a spec which is not relying on CD's. I wouldn't be surprised if record times of clearing instances from 5x arcane mages could be beaten by 5x frost. You can shatter into oblivion with 5x nova and 5x Freeze. You'll have to place them smart though, keeping DR in mind.

That's the problem, DR. I would take the bet for clearing an instance =)

I have my sheep focus macro and its pretty fast to mark everything. It's about two casts with AB to kill most trash mobs. Worst problem i have is when it isn't sheepable and then I have to rely on Ring of Frost.

This team sure is getting harder in instances, I've managed all instances up to sethekk halls and then went to lvl in northrend, I had to switch to arcane for both Nexus and Utgarde keep, i just finished Azjol nerub aswell, but damn it's getting harder with these bosses having multiple phases, not just nuke 100-0%
