Fwiw, ?? Level bosses are 3 levels above you, regardless of your current level. In other words, dps should try to be hit capped (+17% for casters), even if you are 85 doing old content.

Been a while since I posted any updates on this, but the wife took her time getting to 85. She finally hit it this weekend, and first stop (after gearing her up with alot of BOEs) was Ulduar! In addition to getting alot of non-Meta achievements in the zone, we finished .....................

Firefighter - Not too terribly difficult. Stay out of the fire and explosive stuff. During phase 3 the wife picked up adds with her group as I burned down the head. Phase 4 burned all cooldowns, clones, etc. Collected loot!

Knock, Knock, Knock on Wood - STUPID EASY now. Killed her on the first attempt. The biggest thing is killing the 3 adds at the same time, and get under the mushrooms during the guardian add. Otherwise not too bad at all!

We gave I Love the Smell of Saronite ..... a few tries with not much luck. This one is gonna be tricky, but I think we can do it once we get some good strats down. I'm thinking maybe we keep everyone together, keep everyone in a shadow pool until after the Saronite Animus spawns, kill it, then spread out and kill General like normal.

Having fun though. Just 2 achievements away!

Question, I'm still being troubled with the first boss, Levitan or whatever.
Any useable tactics on him? Since you can't dps him down without using the vehicles afaik.

There is a great strategy for Flame Leviathan on these boards. Just do a title-only search and it should be one of the only posts. Basically what you do is get 1 toon in each of the big vehicles and put them on opposite sides of the room, then control a Demolisher with your main window and a passenger and just DPS him down. The wife and I used that same strategy for heroic mode also.

So for the last two, the wife dropped out her Tank, Healer and 1 Mage. 3 friends from our guild filled the last two spots with a Rogue, Enh Shaman and Healing Druid. We walked them through all of the prior achievements (VERY EASILY) and they helped us get the last two!

So next week we're gonna go get the wife's other 3 toons the achievement, then its off to:

Glory of the Icecrown Raider!

Did this last week with Yahtzee. Vezax wasn't bad but we did Alone in the Darkness (0 keepers) double boxed and it was... rough... So I can understand your pain

We've got another boxer coming up and we're going to do the 25 man achieves with 3 boxers and Icecrown is on our list - but so many of those "achievements" are just plain stupid.
