flag to pick up 2 of there toons that died at a GY far away
Ya this is a real problem, when all die and some go to one GY and others go to another. What would you suggest as best to do in that situation? To maximize help to the team. Log the fewer?

one word. Yes. Everyone has. Multiboxers or Singleboxers.

    @@ Whatever.

From my own experiences there are three main types of MB's:

    PVP Jackwaggons
    PVP Pro
    PVE Pro

Those MB'ers who do PVP (terribly), just make themselves look stupid, and further uneducated comments from the peanut gallery.

Those MB'ers who are pro at PVP, ALSO further uneducated comments from the peanut gallery... for wiping the mat with nubkins who cant even box a single account well.

Those who PVE, (and I should say stick with it), either quietly do their business, or run with a pug here and there.

At times, I will pug a 5th dps. He/she can stay, leave, quit, sit down and do nothing, bitch the entire time, idc. I typically say "hello. ready to do this? Im going fast!"

And thats the last of it.

    For my guild.
I am the only MBer. Some think im cheap, and a hacker, and one guy reports me to a GM every day, and tells me about it. Its been 8 months now.... nope... not banned. Devin got a 3 day suspension for harassing a GM. Whats that tell you?

They love me there. I complete the weekly guild challenges for dungeons 7/7 every week. on a PVP server, so if one guy gets into an altercation, they ALWAYS ask me to come first, before anyone else... knowing that one PERSON, is bringing (5) TOONS... and it aint gonna end well for the griefer.

    TL;DR =
Everyone in game is given hostility for the dumbest reasons. not just multiboxers.
Best advice was already given. You simply need to buck up and learn how to deal with the retards.

I usually report all insults or curse words directed towards me. It's really fun to create overly dramatic tickets reporting people. In your situation he called you a "pathetic retard", I would go ahead and note the time/date he said that and submit a ticket, make up something about how you have a mentally handicapped uncle that you have to care for and you found his comment to be incredibly rude and disrespectful. Tell them you don't think it's healthy behavior for the WoW community and you would like action to be taken against them.

A few days after submitting the ticket you should receive a email that says something along the lines of them taking care of the situation but unable to reveal the exact consequences.

I remember that thread, I might even have a post in it somewhere. Skimming through it now, I see this:

    I do the same thing.

In a 5s match, the opposing team name was "husslin hitler cleave" . They beat me solidly and repeatedly, which was fine. However, they logged onto my server to brag about it and harass me for being a 5x boxer.

I created a ticket complaining about the team name "husslin hitler cleave". In the ticket, I stated I was a Jewish descendant of a holocaust survivor and did not find "hussling hitler cleave" to be amusing and could not believe it was allowed in game.

In the GM response, he said he would take care of the situation immediately and personally. That 5s team got their name changed and each got a 3-day suspension.

cant believe mbox community met with such many incidents... personally i've been boxing on and off over the years and I usually just ignore them and carry on.. but on my server, i do get quite a few people going.. 'wow!' "cool!" haha..

of course there will be some idiots that wil just go around following me wherever i go and just killing all the mob i want to kill but usually have no chance at all ~ For me.. i chose mboxing over single box because i find the great sense of satisfaction in doing things alone and getting all the achievements ~ not saying i dont play with friends.. i do have some friends that i regularly play with and they, in fact, respect me for being able to box...

I can't recall too many negative incidents... mostly people are curious and want to know how.

The few negative ones are just annoyed until they ignore me, the difference in IQ is so enormous it's not hard to do at all. The best ones are where you stay relaxed and factual while they're blowing up and cursing you with everything they know before they ignore you with a final "gonna report you fag!".

    Those make my day.

I really can't understand those saying it's wrong cause it's a MMO. And so what?
MMO just means massive multiplayer online, this is true regardless if you're boxing or not. We are all sharing the world with others. But those three letters says nothing about the fact if you want to actually play with the others or not.

Most people I've spoken to about boxing are simply curious about how it's done, I've had very few negative reactions (to which I'd respond that it isn't breaking any Blizzard rules and directed them to the o-boards as there were quite a few boxing threads up at that time). I tend to level through questing though so I don't really meet that many people out and about. I've had some follow me around for a while and some that will try to tag my target, I guess those ones assume I'm a bot.

I've had someone in a pug (whilst playing solo) threaten to find out where I live and stab me, some people are simply rude and/or narrow-minded. No matter how much evidence or logical argument you provide them with they will not accept anything other than their own view point as correct. There are plenty of nice players out there though and hopefully you'll be able to find a guild with more mature players to park your team in.
