Log the 2 and play the 4?

Run the 4 back to pick up the two (meanwhile the two sit and do nothing)?

Play the 4 and try and run the two to the four at some slow pace?
I AV with my ele shaman so I either self rez or if I'm getting rolled by a lot of alliance I'll fight till all are dead and I'll use the one thats farthest back to pick up the rest. If I'm to spread out I'll roll with the 3 or 4 that rezzed together and if i can't get the others back into the fight I'll log them or let them time out. So far most people in my battlegroup are cool with a multiboxer in AV so I always try to make sure I'm active as possible and I don't want to give the impression that I'm leaching honor.

It's not all hate for multiboxers out there. I was leveling a pair of shamans in Hellfire yesterday and a worgen guy asks me if I'm dual boxing. I said yes and he /highfive'd me! I didn't know there was a /highfive emote until he did that. That made my day. And there's hate for solo players too. This last weekend, I was herbing on a shaman and I dared, I dared to kill the mob standing on the herb and then, of course, pick the herb. And a pally rolled in right behind me after I began picking the herb. Of course, I got to loot the herb since I was first but he proceeded to yell at me, taking care to ignore me first, for being "real crappy" and hoped I felt "so superior". People in this game hate because you have something they don't. And it doesn't matter what or how many it is/are.

as previous poster noted, there are just as many pro boxers as haters, you just dont hear from them as often

as for me i enjoy the crying/whining, it allways makes me smile that people take the effort to try and insult me, its very amusing for me
    Multiboxing WoW x 5

Team Misterioso 4 DKs 1 paladin

For me, last one. Or if you really want to be together, run them toward each other. I try my best to not release until all my alts are dead. It makes sure if a GY gets taken in the meantime, they all end up together. For WSG and such, if it is just 1, I run the 1 guy (click to move goes a LONG way) to my team, if it is 2, I meet them up together (each go half way). If I am on a mission (carrying flag, guarding flag, etc), I always do mission first and ignore the alts until I am either all dead or mission done.

I have been multiboxing for a long time now (EQ etc..) and it honestly used to bother me quite a bit which in turn actually made me play that much harder so people couldn't tell I was doing it. (Dual boxing)

Then I found this community and I cannot express how refreshing it was to find others who enjoyed the same thing I did no matter how different the reasons might be.

The fact is I am not half as good as the majority here but regardless as a community you all have been very supportive and it has made my enjoyment of the games that much better.

Now when someone gives me flack I just tell them they might want to get better taunts and laugh at them.

I have had some pretty fun arguments with haters and most of them end up in them saying they are going to report me for botting.

I love that one as I always ask them if they need help filling out the report and if they want me to whisper them with each toon so they can get the names correct.

Anyway don't sweat it for every ignorant jerk out there there are several more players who will come by and offer the "OMG thats SWEET!" whisper.

I just reply "you jelly you can't even hit 2200 on 1 toon" and they shut up =P

Nobody here cares how good or bad you are -- all we care about is having fun and enjoying the laughs that come with multiboxing.

[edit] And enjoying a community that, with a few rare exceptions, is helpful, friendly, well-informed about the games we play and very low-drama.
    Now playing: WoW (Garona)

this made me chuckle. Although, I try not to call any undue attention to myself with stuff like, all the toons being various race / classes, and names that dont exactly match up.

    EX: Team Metalica

    Ridnlightng - orc female shaman
    One - tauren femanle paladin
    Sandman - troll female druid
    Jstsforall - orc male shaman
Fairytales - orc male shaman (I know, name change is iminent)

I'd run many several dungeons, dropped out Fairytales (higher level) and simply pick up a PUG. Surprisingly, very few people caught on that I was MBing. Yet when they do, only once did a guy refuse to leave the group, and refuse to participate..and just sat at the enterance.

That and as a multiboxer for AV you should always have the trinket on your toons. The rank 6 one got no cooldown - I'm playing 5 mages for pvp and I'm using that alot. Its really unbelieveable how often I port back to horde base, immediately go invisible and make it into Dreks room, over the bridge to our flag or into one of the towers without getting harmed by any kind of aoe damage. Have several times now turned the game by running into Dreks room and prevent them from pulling the boss giving horde 1-2 minutes to score the kill first.
