In your situation he called you a "pathetic retard", I would go ahead and note the time/date he said that and submit a ticket, make up something about how you have a mentally handicapped uncle that you have to care for and you found his comment to be incredibly rude and disrespectful. Tell them you don't think it's healthy behavior for the WoW community and you would like action to be taken against them.

A few days after submitting the ticket you should receive a email that says something along the lines of them taking care of the situation but unable to reveal the exact consequences.

I created a ticket complaining about the team name "husslin hitler cleave". In the ticket, I stated I was a Jewish descendant of a holocaust survivor and did not find "hussling hitler cleave" to be amusing and could not believe it was allowed in game.

In the GM response, he said he would take care of the situation immediately and personally. That 5s team got their name changed and each got a 3-day suspension.
