EvE + IsBoxer

So i recently picked up on boxing EvE.

WoW was becoming very stale but then again playing something for 5 years kinda does that to a game no matter what new stuff they put into it and tbh lately that stuff has not been making the game more fun.

I picked up EvE mostly cause ppl said it was the hardest game to learn and i thought that will keep me occupied for awhile

I activated IS Boxer and went to work.

Now this is my question, why is EvE preforming so bad in IS boxer, without IS boxer i can run 3-4 instances 2560x1600 and just alt tab without much hassle but if i try to box 3 sessions with IS boxer everything is running like syrup.

Turning off stuff doesnt really help and tbh i dont want i pixel fest, i want to enjoy eve for what it is, a visually feast for your eyes.

So anyone with IS boxer and EVE experience please give me some pointers.

I've never had an issue with ISBoxer slowing down EVE. I'm running four clients on a 24" monitor with the main on top across the screen and three instances below. You might want to ask Lax about it and post your screen settings.

Same here I've run 5 copies of EVE on a fairly low spec machine and not experienced any difference when using ISBoxer. Checking with Lax in IRC is usually the best option for rapid support.

That said the EVE UI has been recoded recently so there's the possibility of some changes since I last ran it.

the issue is gone now.

for other reasons i bought a new graphic card gtx590, uppgrade from hd4870x2 now i have zero issues, i run 6 instances 2560x1300 60fps.

ofc the gtx590 is top of the line but the hd4870x2 was and still is very powerfull.

BUT, i went from ATI to Nvidia (i wanted the ATI but cba to wait ) so perhaps it was an issue with eve ati and isboxer.

ohh well all is good now
